Hersheypark presents Candimonium

Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA

Candymonium was officially revealed as the centerpiece to Hersheypark’s massive new Chocolatetown development opening in Summer 2020. The park’s 15th roller coaster will be it’s tallest, fastest and longest at 210 feet (64m) tall, 4,636 feet (1,413m) long and reaching speeds of 76mph (122.3 km/h). Steel Curtain debuts at Kennywood

Steel Curtain, the first amusement park ride to be themed to a NFL team, opened at Kennywood. The custom inverting coaster is the tallest coaster in Pennsylvania at 220 feet (67m), its 9 inversions are the most of any coaster in North America, and it holds the world record for highest inversion at 197 feet (60m). Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth, the world’s tallest and fastest rotating pendulum ride, opened at Six Flags Great Adventure. This Zamperla Giant Discovery stands 172 feet (52.5m) tall and reaches speeds up to 75 mph (121 km/h), matching CraZanity at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Southern California. Pandemonium soars Over Georgia

Pandemonium opened at Six Flags Over Georgia near Atlanta. Standing 150 feet (46m) tall, the Zamperla Giant Discovery rotating pendulum attraction swings riders at speeds up to 70 mph (112.5 km/h) high above the park and is the first of three opening at Six Flags parks this year.
