Six Flags announces 2019 attractions

Six Flags announced the lineup of new attractions coming to each of the the chain’s parks in 2019. Ranging from roller coasters to water slides to new kiddie areas with family friendly rides, this is by far the largest group of new additions the chain has made due to the acquisition of five new properties earlier this year. Twisted Cyclone opens at Six Flags Over Georgia

Six Flags Over Georgia opened Twisted Cyclone, the RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) I-Box track conversion of the former Georgia Cyclone wooden coaster. The steel hybrid coaster stands 100 feet (30m) tall with a 75° drop, features 3 inversions and 10 airtime hills, all while reaching speeds up to 50 mph (80 km/h).
