Reverchon is a French manufacturer who are best known for their spinning Wild Mouse coasters and traveling river rapids attractions.
Their work in the amusement park industry started in the 1920s developing bumper car rides. The bumper car business remained at their core for over 40 years. If you’ve been on a dodgem ride, you’ve probably been on a Reverchon! They diversified in the 1970s with classic theme park attractions and then roller coasters in the 1990s.
Reverchon’s First Coaster
Reverchon’s first roller coaster was Tigre de Sibérie which opened in 1990 at Le Pal in France. The custom family coaster is one of only a few non-spinning coasters the company manufactured, along with the Gold Mine big apple coaster at Pirat’ Park in France.

These coasters usually follow the same layout, however they can be customized.

Other information
In 2003, rival manufacturers Zamperla signed an agreement to manufacture and sell Reverchon amusement rides worldwide under a license agreement. The Zamperla and Reverchon agreement dissolved in 2005, however Zamperla retained the rights to build its own spinning mouse coaster calling it the Twister Coaster. It is virtually identical to the Reverchon model except individual restraints mounted to the floor of the vehicle whereas Reverchon restraints are pulled down above the riders head.
