May 27, 2022 – This brand new Zamperla Twister Coaster is set to open at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom this weekend and we got a sneak peak today. Sidewinder Safari features beautifully painted trains and a snake exhibit in the queue line. You heard that right, there are REAL LIVE SNAKES! Yikes!
Standing nearly 43 feet (13m) tall, the spinning cars slither back and fourth along the 1378 feet (420m) of track at speeds of 29 mph (46.6 km/h). This wild mouse is the park’s eleventh coaster and one attraction that perfectly combines both major features of the park – thrill rides and wild animal exhibits.
