I'm not sure if i like this. A regular woodie made well is always fantastic- why didn't they just get GCI or GG to make an airtime-filled twister? It seems pointless to make it look wooden when you start to do Stengel dives and all this crap. I'd rather see one of those high-five elements.
I reckon RMC has better build quality than either of them.

Also, this crap about what elements a wooden coaster "should" and "shouldn't" have needs to stop.

Nobody is gonna miss a cred because it has a stengel dive. Nobody from the GP is gonna skip the ride because it has a stengel dive (Except perhaps ones that don't like upside down ish elements)

Because they don't want to re-track it every now and then?

^This. Besides its something "new" which attracts Buzz. Not just in the enthusiast community but in the gp as well.

Besides RMC is batting 1.00

Re: Silver Dollar City |"Unknown"| Wooden Hybrid Coaster

At-last it's lovely to see a woodie getting an inversion, launched start is next.

Get ANOTHER inversion.. without blowing up the world in the process of course.

Awww, but what fun is that?

Re: Silver Dollar City |"Unknown"| Wooden Hybrid Coaster

It's not exactly an inversion, it's more of a reverse overbank. which is still cool by me but it loks like the transition out is going to be very quick, like almost i305 left to right quick.

Re: Silver Dollar City |"Unknown"| Wooden Hybrid Coaster

^ I agree. I actually think it's got the potential to be better than any inversion though. It's everything I love coasters doing.

Re: Silver Dollar City |"Unknown"| Wooden Hybrid Coaster

It's an inversion. Don't make Furie pull out the picture again.

Re: Silver Dollar City |"Unknown"| Wooden Hybrid Coaster

If 135 degrees counts as an inversion can 82 degrees count as vertical?

Re: Silver Dollar City |"Unknown"| Wooden Hybrid Coaster

89 does apparently. look at G5 and Oblivion

Its the old argument again, It all depends on what you want to call it. Same with the Inclined loops on Mantis, Riddler and Green lantern. They invert less than this but do you count those?

I'm waiting to see what the park says.

Too right, I've done it twice this year already. Third strike and you're OUT! ;)

Re: Silver Dollar City |"Unknown"| Wooden Hybrid Coaster

Alright I give, that definitely is inversion worthy.

I hope that Anti-Bank will be giving riders some serious negative-G's once the train banks in the opposite direction.
