Nemesis did it first...
The army are clearly involved with Nemesis, due to the army/goverment camp site and vehicles.TP Rich said:Not really, Nemesis is just generally alien invasion themed, rather than actual intense war with aliens.

Nemeis, Raptor Swarm and... this, for obvious reasons, are all very similar.

Sorry, I'm talking about Nemesis itself rather than What Lies Beneath. Nemesis itself isn't themed around war.
I was talking about Nemesis too. Have you never noticed the army related vehicles, campisite, etc, around Nemesis?TP Rich said:Joey said:The army are clearly involved with Nemesis, due to the army/goverment camp site and vehicles.TP Rich said:Not really, Nemesis is just generally alien invasion themed, rather than actual intense war with aliens.

Seems to be pretty similar to when they were building Nemesis - army vehicles, "keep out" stripes, flashing lights, and "Danger" signs all present and correct. Which is fair enough!TP Rich said:Joey said:The army are clearly involved with Nemesis, due to the army/goverment camp site and vehicles.TP Rich said:Not really, Nemesis is just generally alien invasion themed, rather than actual intense war with aliens.

Military can be involved with situations that aren't war.TP Rich said:Serious? Army camp in Forbidden Valley? Well, Nemmie was built four years before I was born. Where exactly is this army camp? I've done some mean Street Viewing with no success.
I can't see what else an army tank would have to do with aliens apart from war, but I suppose we could be surprised. What I initially meant was that both THE SWARM and What Lies Beneath? both seemed very similar theme-wise and that they were both being constructed and promoted at the same time, which seemed a bit like Merlin weren't varying their themes as much as they could be.
Hmmmm, people that say they heard of something way before everyone else.....CF is being invaded by hipsters!gavin said:^This
I've never understood that "I know something you don't" mentality of posting. The only thing it ever does is make the person doing it look like a massive douche.

Basically a ghetto Pandora's Box.
