I'm not convinced H&S has anything to do with it. Why would they? I think it's more that parks aren't investing in woodies. Personally a launched woodie has no appeal really (maybe these new RMC ones are an exception), but I think the lift hill is a pretty key feature for wooden coasters. Maybe it's just that putting a launch on one changes the impression they give too much. I mean, the technology is more than ready to be implemented, so there must be some reason we haven't seen one.sparky2u said:I know our H&S laws would go nuts if DMP asked to build a "LIM launched" woodie with inversios & tunnels,
but thats 1/2 the fun, pushing limits & not creating a normal steel/wood coaster. When Paultons Park asked to have a tunnel for "Cobra" the council said "No" so PP put a shed over the last dip instead which sort of works & gives a great headchopper effect.

Looks very short, and i'm sad it's not a woodie
Ethan said:^ Of course they don't but for one, I was joking about it being terrible. Secondly, short doesn't mean bad. So they can effort to make a good, solid coaster, but will they? Meh.

It seems like the park is ONLY investing in children rides now, Thomas land is already packed as it as, but they still managed to fit another new ride in the area. Drayton really do need to invest in a thrill ride soon as the older audience do become bored quickly.

^What makes you say that?
If they are going for an action movie stunt coaster thing they better theme it to the hilt or it'd be a bit meh. I can see it being a good coaster type for the whole family though. Look forward to seeing more on this now if it is real, I need a reason to go back to get the Ben10 cred.
