ArieForce One takes off

Fayetteville, GA, USA

March 31st, 2023 – Fun Spot’s first brand new roller coaster outside of Florida opened today at Fun Spot America Atlanta. ArieForce One is Fun Spot’s largest investment to date costing a whopping $18m, and it’s worth every penny! Standing at 154 feet (47 m) tall, riders reach a top speed 64 mph (103 kph) along the 3,400 feet (1,000 m) length of track. Headline statistics aside, ArieForce One outstanding elements include an 83° first drop and four inversions, including a “Raven Truss Dive” and the largest Zero-G stall in the United States!

ArieForce One has taken nearly five years to become a reality. A major coaster was first hinted in 2018 by Fun Spot’s CEO John Arie Jr – from where the ride takes it’s puntastic name – with land clearance starting in 2019. It wasn’t until May 2021 when Fun Spot Atlanta announced that RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) would be be creating the new coaster. Construction was delayed due to zoning issues and supply chain issues. After five years, the end result is 100 seconds of pure coaster bliss!
