I read an interview with Criterion the other day and the question of "destroying the cars" came up with regards the licensed vehicles in Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.
They said that car companies were absolutely fine with it, and they understand people want to see real damage to the vehicles, and that they have to let it happen. However, they're not allowed to show the cars breaking apart or exploding or anything. Basically anything which makes the cars look like they're unsafe to crash in :lol:
So if it is that, it's not the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti, Porche, Chevrolet, Mercedes... Any of the car companies involved with Hot Pursuit basically.

when we went to the sony press confrence a couple of weeks ago we played the full final version of gt5 and it was actually epic it was also 3D which i must admit was kinda cool they told us then i could be delayed a little untill end of november and maybe begining of december but apparently its nothing to do with the game itself it has something to do with the packeging and boxing of the game where as some componys dont want there cars on the box and stuff and it was getting a little heated acording to the reps we where speeking to so ill see what i can dig up at work today as the reps are coming for a visit hehehe.

Where did you get the Sonic demo from?
I saw Dead Space Ignition and thought "Yay Dead Space" and downloaded the demo. I saw it was like a cartoon but I thought I'd give it a go anyway?
Downloaded it and all the demo is is a cut-scene with comic book stills and then you 'hack' a terminal by moving your left stick up and down to control a ball that's going from left to right. You then just have to move it up and down to miss obstacles.
They think it's existing because you're racing another one. But it doesn't make sense and it's utter ****.
The Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 demo was quite fun though. Still feels a bit repetitive moving from area to area killing enemies before moving to the next area and doing the same. The combination of lightsabers and awesome force powers make it fun to play though. I'll probably do what I did with the first though and just stick with the demo for a little bit of fun and then watch all the cut scenes on Youtube to get the story. As the cut scenes and story are quite good.
And the Legend of the Guardians demo doesn't even work. I click on it to play and then the screen goes black and I have to reset my PS3.

Ollie, the Sonic demo is with the rest, it's a free trial though rather than a demo. Is it one of those "click here and then you get tow options" things?

Oh, and Legend of the guardians is piss poor (played it a couple of weeks ago).
The Fighter plane game thing demo though is great. I love those kinds of silly little games :lol:

I'm going to post that link on every page in this topic until it's released next year. There isn't anyone with a PS3 who should NOT buy this remake pack. Ico is one of the best platformers ever, and Shadow of the Colossus is possibly THE best game ever!
