Weird, Wacky & Strange Coaster Bits

What might the reason be behind not being able to remove it?

Its probably cheaper to keep it there. Its not exactly taking up any important space, and it probably costs a lot to get that thing off of there.

The Don Quixote coaster!

They never got the permits to install it. The neighbors were PISSED and the ward council basically punished the store by not allowing the issuing of operation permits AND simultaneously denying permits to remove it for use at another location. Kind of evil, really, but there you go. Million-yen decorative structure.

I knew it was an odd spelling, I just was too lazy to see which odd spelling it was.

Weird company. There was one near my apartment in Yokosuka. Everything from Louis Vuitton handbags to 100-yen store crap and damn near everything in between.

This is one I haven't seen before. 4 wheeler trains, huh.

Always found the double down into the brake run on Goliath at La Ronde quite interesting, as you don't usually see double downs on steel coasters.

I think I'm in love...

Ummmmmm... good god. This beauty is delivered to you by Shanghai China Fun Equipment.

They have an awesome website:
http://www.china-funequipment.com/en/index.asp
or
http://www.sinofunrides.com/en/index.asp

with a knock off tagada
http://www.china-funequipment.com/en/pr ... 57&id=1543

Car that looks like bagpuss on a bad hair day
http://www.china-funequipment.com/en/pr ... 67&id=1649

But, oddly, no coasters listed on RCDB!!

If you go to their land rides page, it's just an outdated map of Hershey Park and a caption that says No!! No!!.

That aircraft thing is a very very odd banner. At first I wondered if they planned to stick some rides on the old Russian "Kiev" which is moored in Tianjin and advertised as a themepark/hotel. But I think it may just be some weird Chinese advertisement for the company.

I certainly plan on going to Tianjin in the future. If i do, I am soooo staying on this.

Um... What?

How does anything move sideways vertically, ever?

I don't remember the ride being notable at all apart from how it went over a bunch of other rides. Not great, not horrible.

There's also dozens of other coasters with the same style of track.

I think he meant that the spine didn't bank with the rails. Strange indeed.

I think The Beast at Kings Island has the strangest shaping ever. It feels like a NoLimits beginner coaster. It's a sick ride, but it's shaped strangely.

Not sure if it's a coaster bit, but I personally find it strange since they didn't have NL back then but it looks exactly like a NoLimits beginners coaster.

I don't find it all that odd. Some Vekomas and Arrows do the same thing, but maybe not to that extent..

Actually, even GIBs have a similar thing in the station where the distance between the spine and the rails is different than on the rest of the course.

Bad word choice, I'll admit. And what other rides have that track style? I haven't seen nor heard of any others.
