Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

For those wondering it is pronounced coo cullen, like pull in with a c.

For some reason, I look at the train and think he's saying "I'll save you... with my delicious golden locks".

My first thought was more "By the power of grayskull"

Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

It's 'take as read' isn't it? Maybe that's Irish but more likely Connor's just being a twat.

Anyway, ridiculous trains. I LOVE them. My first thought was He Man. Can Mark dress up as Skeletor again for the opening?

Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

That train is just amazing, he looks like he's ready for a battle on a gladiator themed night in a gay bar!

By the power of grayskull!

I'm upset it's not just got a giant potato stuck to the front

Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

"Cú" translated from Portuguese to English is "ass".

Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

Those trains certainly look...odd. A half naked, muscular man stuck to the front of a wooden coaster? I can think of some CFers that would consider this their dream cred ;)

Happier with this name than the garbage it was rumoured to be. According to Alton Showers' post, it is easier to pronounce than you first might imagine :p

You?

AltonShowers would be a great drag name by the way.

This looks wonderful, I'm really excited about hoping over to Ireland and riding some wood <3

Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

I wonder if they have themed the rear car of the train as well..

Why? Have you gone through all of the gay male population of the UK already?

Btw, let me know, I'm gonna tag along (for the cred, not your bumming escapades).

Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

Yay - I might actually make it to one that's not Blackpool

Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

It looks so tall in that first picture, looks to have some great twists and hills.

Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

Still can't quite believe this haha. Look stunning, it truly is groundbreaking.

So going through Tayto Parks facebook page and they properly have started advertising the ride !

Also what I found interesting was that somebody posted this:

When will you be announcing the other rides comin to the park along with the coaster??

and they replied:
A little potato told me that there may be some new attraction announcements tomorrow! (But you didn't hear that from us  )

Could this mean like actual new rides unknown to us and the public or the sort of theme of rides going in such as the air race? Would be awesome if there were more rides coming on top of what we are already expecting :)

Re: Tayto Park | The Cú Chulainn Coaster | Gravity Group Woo

^I thought we were expecting like 8 attractions this year in total? The park doesn't have any rides at the moment (I don't believe), only 'attractions' so make of this what you will.
