I'm gonna ride it a couple of weeks after it breaks down on opening/media day and has the usual teething problems.

Jokes aside, I really hope it won't break down for those people who are going in a couple of weeks to ride it, I hope it works and I hope it's amazing!

just wondering, how did The smiler have Raven turn? is it really possible? I saw it on The smiler's own info page as possible inversion but I'm really skeptical about it. I thought it's only possible in 4D coasters. answers anyone?

A few people on other forums have questioned the 14 inversions like they questioned one of the inversions on Rage.

From what I can see all inversions are full but some are saying they are not.

I don't know if I'm honest I've not really studied the layout.

If they say 14 that's good enough for me, it's just people being picky etc. they seem to think this only inverts fully 11 times.

Going to e-mail Alton and ask if they'll guarantee me a free bounceback ticket or something if it's **** broke on opening day as it's a frickin' long way.

I really cannot see the 23rd being really busy apart from coaster groups.

Kids are at school and adults will need a day off work.

Please post a response if you get one, even if it's a simple no - I feel a bounceback ticket would only be fair if the ride was down for a large portion of the day.

As for the inversions debate, I'll judge in person. From the angles of the pictures I've seen so far, I can pretty much call it 14 inversions with one or two I'm a bit uncertain of, but are pretty confident in thinking lye within the furie inversion chart I thought the debated Rage's 'inversion' was inverting until I saw it and rode and then decided that personally it doesn't quite make the cut with me.
