My home park is Pleasurewood Hills. It's a great little park and deserves to succeed.

They certainly do, the best prepared one is for the Queen. I think I remember hearing that the BBCs name for the Queen Mother's death preparations was called Project Mrs Robinson or something like that or maybe that's the one for the Queen :? Who knows :/

Car finder feature seems like a great idea, does anyone know how it directs you back or does it just show you where your car is a map? Nice app though, I really like it. The coaster counter is neat but doesn't actually log what you've ridden just distance, height and Gs by the looks if it.

I used to think cream tea was just a different type of tea; like a cup of tea with cream instead of milk. To my surprise when I ordered one once that it was just tea and a scone with jam and cream I was pleasantly surprised. I do love scones, and tea, which is ideal when considering a cream tea...

There are a lot of actors who are character actors that best at certain roles like some that have been mentioned but it doesn't mean they can't act. Mark Wahlberg, now there's a very poor actor. Disagree about Jack Black though Furie, awesome guy!

Portaventura is well worth a visit.

That was very interesting, I love seeing "lights-on" videos. It's amazing to see how everything is put together.

I like this ride. It's simple but effective and I think children will really love it. Is there a height limit for the accompanied child - I mean would a parent be able to take a one year old on it for instance?

Re: Will we see another "coaster war" I think in the UK it's unlikely. The parks with the most money are all Merlin and the only park I could see waging a war with Merlin would be BPB but as you rightly say it's all family orientated these days.

Re: 60m Drop Tower for Pleasurewood Hills... I would like to see one on there as there is a distinct lack of ORPs at PWH. I think only Wipeout and Timber Falls has one at the moment. EDIT: Actually the wave coaster also has one so maybe not that bad. Would like to see one on Enigma though.

Re: 60m Drop Tower for Pleasurewood Hills... Is there an ORP for this type of ride? I know the Intamin model does but I can't see whether this one will be able to.

Wow that is one incredibly long coaster. Over a minute and a half of pure coaster fun, looks awesome!

Re: 60m Drop Tower for Pleasurewood Hills... I wouldn't imagine that's where the ride will be as it seems a bit close to Enigma. Looking at it though that would be an ideal place for the queueline.

Nice trip report Martyn. And good to see a generous use of your camera, it's always nice to read a trip report when there are some photos to look at too. Make sure you keep the same up when you next visit the Hills!

Re: 60m Drop Tower for Pleasurewood Hills... This is fantastic news. Pleasurewood Hills need something like this to put them on the map. I'm local to PWH and most people see it as a kids park with very few rides. This will certainly help to transform that image.
