Have you never been to Hershey?
No. Pretty disgraceful I know. I have no valid excuses either, I've just.... never got round to it.
2020 is a strong possibility though, a new B&M hyper is just the motivation I needed.

I know it’s a very well-known park, but I still think it’s a bit underrated. A lot of great rides and a great atmosphere.No. Pretty disgraceful I know. I have no valid excuses either, I've just.... never got round to it.

The more I think about this, the more I realise how unfussed I am by a few of them. Not at all fussed about catching Lightning Rod any time soon and I can live without Steel Vengeance and Fury 325 too (though I suspect I added that to facilitate a joke that got nowhere near the reaction I had hoped for ). So, updated:I'm yet to ride anything in the States, so for me:
1. Millennium Force
2. El Toro
3. Cyclone (Coney Island)
4. Steel Vengeance
5. Helix
6. Top Thrill Dragster/Kingda Ka
7. Intimidator 305/Fury 325/Decidedly Grumpy 345
8. Maverick
9. Lightning Rod
10. Steel Dragon 2000
Mostly a US-based list for me, though SD2K gets on there because I had memories of my Dad talking excitedly about it when it was built and seeing its RCDB entry on his old iMac.
If you want to experience some of the high-bar experiences the coaster world currently has to offer, you really should keep on your list Fury, Lightning Rod, and Steel Vengeance. The more I think about this, the more I realise how unfussed I am by a few of them. Takabisha, Boulder Dash, X2, Voyage and Sheikra come close, and the highest 'want the cred' to 'likelihood of getting the cred soon' coefficient goes to The Ultimate.
Ok, WOW I need to change this up!
- Any RMC
- Twisted Colossus
- Lightning Rod (You can see I really want to ride an RMC!)
- Euro-Mir
- Euro Fighter
- Fury 325
- MF (yup, still haven't ridden it yet!)
- Firehawk (want to finish up KI)
- Voyage
- Thunderbird
But this is the thing, I'll get round to them eventually but hopefully once the hype's died down. Right now, I fear they can only disappoint, now that everyone seems to rhapsodise about them. All the rest add a bit of depth and uniqueness, and Wildfire's terrain layout looks like it ticks my boxes. If you want to experience some of the high-bar experiences the coaster world currently has to offer, you really should keep on your list Fury, Lightning Rod, and Steel Vengeance.
And Decidedly Grumpy, of course.
