Really good to hear how hard they're coming down on these idiots!

They certainly are. This includes anything remotely to do with the riots.

A teen was arrested in South Essex after he was reported to police for sending out a text message to 200 contacts telling people to meet at a certain place to 'cause some mayhem'. He claims he was joking...

He appeared in court in the week and the magistrates certainly made an example of him. He has to go back in a couple of weeks for sentencing and has been told that he may get a custodial sentence. Technically they can't actually put him away because of his age, however, I imagine they are making an example of him.
