Yet another deviation from the original animation. The exit of the TGS will rotate the opposite way of the entrance, rather than continue through in a counter-clockwise direction:

No track just yet, but the supports do not lie ;)

This means EVEN MORE TWISTY BITS as the roll will have to continue to sweep to the right underneath the zero-g-roll of the blue track!!

Roller coasters, like any other engineering project, are iterative. There's no rule stating that any project is finalized just because it's announced. We see ten year old rides get iterated every time a wooden coaster gets reprofiled. Hell, we could argue that Twisted Colossus is just a significant iteration of the original Colossus. There is always room for improvement, and as we are seeing with Twisted Colossus, Six Flags and RMC think they can make it even better.

The exit is completed:

Also not sure if anybody heard, but Goliath's lift chain broke the other day, looks like they've hopped to it already though.

THOSE NEW TRAIN DECALS WERE TOO MUCH TO HANDLE!!!!

Someone is just going to need to make a video loop of trains travelling through that middle portion - it is utterly mesmerizing.

I know ;) I was pointing it out for those that are paying attention (or not).

I'd say this thing is cruising right along.

The outward banked hill is going up, as is the final turn on the green track.

I need this. You need this. We all need this. Supposedly construction of the blue 0-g and the last green hairtime are going up this week.

From what I've been reading today, the track is 2 whole pieces (the top of the blue 0-g) from being completed.

Apparently the track has just been completed today. They really seemed to pick up the pace these last few weeks. Who knows, maybe they'll actually get this thing open on time after all? :p

But yeah, looks amazing as usual.

I think RMC is pushing to get it done on SF's schedule.

When's the expected opening for this then? Sorry to be lazy and not trawl through the topic (and it's not on RCDB). Later than Memorial Day then?

Asking cos I'm thinking of visiting end of June.

6F official site says "Coming in late spring" - obviously they don't put a real date on it because they aren't sure (ref. Goliath last year).

I'd have thought end of June was summer rather than late spring, but what do I know about travelling miles to get spited by new coasters (ref. Goliath last year). Risky then.

They have until the 21st of June this year. That is when the end of Spring is.
