Sea World San Diego |"Manta"| Mack Launched

At least they've got rid of that moron who last presented, the girl who had the presenting skills of a donkey.
 
I had always liked the look of this, but this disgustingly large trim seems to kill it (well, the latter part at least):

What is the need for that trim, It's not like it was going super fast anyway.
The trains look really nice on the track though. Let hope this has good theming to make up fot the ride.

It's very graceful, it really does look like a manta swimming, nice.

It's only a "family" coaster too isn't it? So lack of speed isn't overly surprising surely?
 
^ Yeah, you're right. It is a family coaster, it's not meant to be the next Blue Fire, I like it, it's just a good family coaster and will be great for those kids in the "in-between" age that don't want kiddie coasters, but don't want to ride the major thrilling coasters.
 
It does look nice, but I would like to see it running with all the theming and the zero car. It'll look beautiful then.

Also, am I the only one who's bothered by that squeaking sound the train keeps making? It's not that big of a deal just walking past it, but if I were in the queue and the train kept screeching past, it would really bother me and make me mad. XD Hopefully you can't hear it from the queue.

It's a lot longer than I expected, and it looks like a lot of fun. Very nice indeed.
 
What a fantastic little coaster. It's going to look great when they've got the all the landscaping finished! :D
 
Love the banked turn after the second launch. It has quite a snap to it.

I want to see more of these Mack launch coasters.

Oh yea, especially if Storm at Etnaland rides as beautifully as it looks.

Seriously, could Mack end up doing everything proper that Intamin did foul?
