Rollercoaster Set For Re-Opening.

But this is more than just any old coaster re-opening, this coaster means alot to most people.

Its fun and has a lot of history. I'm very happy its due to re-open. The 'historic' feel of the Pleasure Beach is what I like, if it didn't have that any more, I probably wouldn't visit.

Im glad it reopening as i love the drop by the cafe and the tunnels were if hve your hands up it feels like a real "hand-chopper" moment

Trauma Towers and the Goldmine are set to re-open soon. Yesterday there was something going in at the Trauma Towers ride they had opened the shutters but it said 'Closed All Day' and the Goldmine is supposed to be re-opening soon.

I'm glad Rollercoaster is coming back because although the old trains had the no restraints novelty, it was a bit dull (although historically interesting and a worthy addition to the line up) but with the new train, the ride is very much improved, certainly better than the Big Dipper.

Any one ever wondered:

a) Why the Rollercoaster cars were replaced by Big Dipper cars?

b) Who bought one off eBay?

The answers are here:

^Great, I did actually wonder where it had gone. God that guy is putting so much work into it, I would have probably bought and stored it in the condition it was in. Looks like it will require some serious engineering and its not going to be easy to get parts.

Trauma Towers shutters are open because they are selling photos taken with Bradley and Bella Beaver in there.

Also photos with a juggler from Forbidden are sometimes available too, so its opened for selling photos, not because TT is re-opening.

Another thing to note, Trauma Towers wristband scanner has been removed, where as the scanners on Rollercoaster and Goldmine are still there.

It'll be great to see Rollercoaster re-open. It may not be the greatest ride on planet earth, but it delivers a relatively fun ride with some good floater air and is one of the few classic wooden coasters we have left in the UK.

Exactly, plus it opened in 1933.

Great news if it re opens.

I dont know of any changes.

They have just re-opened it for the time being to accomadate the loss of Bling, which has been open once in the last four weeks.

I have no idea how long it'll remain open, but its ADIPS runs out at the end of June.
