Oh geez I feel stupid, for a second I thought Bill Gates was the president for a second.

But yeah, I have to agree that it was a very clever way of putting across a point. If people don't care that poor people get Malaria, and then they realize how much worry they had when they were exposed to the mosquitoes, maybe they won't just "meh" the situation in other countries, if that makes sense.
