I know. Plus, from the size of this one and the apparent size of the coaster, it's safe to guess this is the first inversion.
Something else to notice on this is the fact that the Water Splash element, if it is that, is straight after the first drop, although this may be a tunnel, to be, from the side, it looks like the cement trough and lower sides that Water Splash elements have?
^No, I think that's just the dividers to stop the track area flooding. The track will drop down 'under' the water level (remember the concept art?) and those concrete things are just to give the track a channel to run in. It's very similar to the water-splash troughs, but I just can't see them trimming off all the speed right at the start.
It will probably do a fake splash like Manta and Hulk because like Hixee said it would kill too much speed using the actual train to create the splash there
When I mentioned the water splash element I didn't mean the one in which the train creates the splash, instead I meant like Manta, just a water splash..
Don't ask me how official these are but it does fit in with the space. I was kinda expecting more then this which is a shame, but down to my own stupidity lol!
So official that the person who made it spelt the park's name wrong
I'm holding out for construction/prefer not to know the layout right now anyways... Much more interesting that way really... Besides, a NL 'recreation' of an unbuilt ride based on... Whatever doesn't exactly prove much... Could be completely different...
Oblivion works due to the hole, I still do not think it needs anything else. It does what it needs to do. If they do not theme this it is going to be very bland, but then again it is a family DM if I remember.
Trust me on Sheikra I fail to notice it even invert. I still do not rate it any higher than Oblivion.
For this they may as well have saved their money and built a Eurofighter. Very dissapointed there was a chance to give this a good layout with that space and I do not think they have taken advantage.
Heide needs something with a layout as they only have 1 great coaster the rest are well nothing to right home about.
Oblivion is indeed the best of the experiances offered by the dive machine, and it will remain so forever I suspect.
Sheikra at least has some weird airtimy force on it's inversion, Griffon offers you nothing. Twice.
I am however looking at Krake as a well-made eurofighter, not a dive machine. And I wonder if the smaller size will mean the inversion actually does something in the way of force? I also wonder if it will lack the visual impact of riding Griffon or Sheikra? Swings and roundabouts perhaps.
With incredible speed of the (almost) vertical fall from the dive coaster is growing at Heide-Park Resort in the air. More than half is already done. Which of you tingle at the sight of even the feet?
To be honest, I thought this looked good at the start, but if that is the layout it's very disappointing. As marc said above, Oblivion doesn't need any more layout as it's all about the hole, but this just doesn't seem to have enough really.
I am so disappointed by that layout, I thought this was the coaster that Saw should have been. However I wouldn't trade Saw for that.
I don't get Heide park, they have all that room and no height ceiling yet they opt to build something with hardly any layout at all. They did the same with Desert Race, it could have done so much more than just a Rita clone.
