That huge turn just puts into perspective how massive the ride is gonna be, as if we didn't already know that :p .

Jake, I know.. SO sick of those colours!

Yea a storm will really stop them. So much track...... pretty cool.

This thing looks really exciting. Its nice to see they're trying something a bit different, huge lift followed by a layout very close to the ground; rather than the usual hill followed by 5 more hills (yawn). The layout also fits in a better with the race car theme.

But I have to agree that the shoulder bars are far from ideal. Especially at these sorts of speeds, it needs to be extremely smooth otherwise its going to be a bit uncomfortable with those harnesses bashing you now and again. It's by no means the end of the world though.

And even some haunt footage. Check out KDFansite.com for more pictures. Many have been uploaded recently.

Not much have changed.. they have slowly added some supports and track, but for the most part, we are sitting the same place as we did last week.. but with that drop support almost done, i'd look to see the mid-lift support to go up soon too.

^They would probably work on the hill, or at least part of it, underneath the lift before crowning it as well.

^It only has two supports under the lift.

I'm suspecting that first we'll see the support they are working on get topped off and trackage to the first drop added. Then they'll start upwards on the support nearer the station. When that gets topped, they'll add the lift track to that point. Finally, I'm suspecting that the entire lift crown will be lifted in one, bolted together piece.

If they bring in another BIG crane, that is.

Well, there's just so little support structure aside from the massive beefy-ness of the track itself, so I just can't fathom it going together any other way. It sure isn't like putting together a B&M lifthill!

The end justifies the means in this case, as long as the lift hill gets built that's what counts!

Heard that there may be a temporary support of some type utilised during construction of the lift hill. The section that is in place actually has guy wires attached to provide stability until the whole structure is complete.

Apparently it's far more complicated to build this than other coasters.

^ Common sense tells me it was probably suppose to be an emoticon or something :p .

OMG did I finally have more common sense than you for once?!

Woops. Yeah, that's the shortcut for this:

on another forum. Basically use it to indicate that I want to sit back and watch something. The popcorn is something to do while watching.

Yesss, I was right!

Never really looked at the construction photos before, but I'm having a peek at what they have up now and oh my God that first drop is going to be one of the best, for sure. I'm excited..

Or, maybe, you just couldn't tell that I was poking fun at him? Or maybe you are simply an idiot.

I vote for the latter.

Popcorn.

According to the blog, the main lift support is topped off now. They're going to add the connection piece of the first big lift section to pull together the track and support. Then they'll start on the middle support and go from there. They also put up some pictures of them adding a few more track pieces on the big first turn. Those go up pretty fast since they're close to ground level. Also, in a few days they said they'd be moving the webcam, I expect to either on top of Drop Zone or Anaconda's lift. Looking forward to a much better view.
