Formula 1 2009

So how good was MS thats the question. Brawn leaves Ferrari they lose their way, Brawn joins Honda a year later lock out on the front row of the grid.

So how how much was it all down to Brawn, I would say a hell of a lot.

Lol, it was a lethal combination Marc, they both contributed.

No question Ross Brawn knows what he's doing though!

So who's up for a big MSN convo tomorrow morning? :p

^ Me too, if I remember it.

Also don't forget the daylight savings crap as well...

^ Why not use the CF chat?
Hmm, I've only tried it at work, and it sucked like a septuagenarian crackwhore. Can try if you like!

EDIT: DON'T FORGET THE CLOCKS GO FORWARD! (lol, beat me to it Pieter :p)

Well it all kicked off after quali.

Toyota are at the back due to being dq thanks to a flexi rear wing.
Lewis has had his gearbox changed so he will also start at the back.
Williams said Ferrari and RBR are illegal but then withdraw the complaint.

 , I'm very impressed with Brawn. The car just stuck to the track you could really see the difference with the grip. If they have good reliability then I can see nobody touching them in the race.

Also what did everyone make of the new BBC commentary team? Glad to see Martin Brundle still doing it but I don't know what to make of the other commentator yet. Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard seem to be doing okay too as the pundits.

Definatly an interesting start to the season.

Brawn GP are putting on a stunning performance - lets hope they can keep that pace up during the race tomorrow. I'd love to see a Jenson or Rubens victory tomorrow.

Slightly annoyed at the director though. At the end of Q1 you had both McLarens out on track doing flying laps fighting to get into Q2, and what are we watching on TV, a frigging Force India car! I was watching the live timings on Formula1.com, and Hamilton had to abandon his last flying lap and dive into the pits when his gearbox went - that wasn't even mentioned or shown on the TV!

Still, getting up at 6am tomorrow to watch the race before work. :--D

That's me, Peter & Marc up for qualy then. NEAL FAIL :p.

I politely request that that fail be stricken from the record, as you indeed know that I was awake Mark

I couldn't be bothered to boot up the laptop and turn on the modem, but I did text you whilst Hamilton failed though :p

Yes that is good, I'm actually lol-ing at how everyone is STILL surprise that the McLaren is that ****! It's been blatantly obvious for months, even McLaren THEMSELVES have stressed it many times, yet y'all though they were sandbagging.

I also said that the Brawn would be the fastest, so that's 2/3 predictions spot on.

But Ferrari aren't as fast as I'd like them to be, but that was after all wishful thinking on my part being a fan

However, Kimi keeps harping on about it's race pace so we'll see.

I'm fully looking forward to the season ahead, best season since 2003 me thinks.

Am a bit worried about the start tbh, I can see Vettel going for it big time and wonder if both Brawn cars will get round the 1st corner.

Fortunately for the British media (who have now as I predicted fallen in love with Jenson and done the typical "Lewis who?" routine), Vettel is not that sort of driver

Last year he had a number of start line crashes, also Ferrari and their KERS will have an advantage off the line which will be interesting to see.
