What's new

COTALAND | Texas | Gerstlauer Infinity Shuttle (Palindrome) & Vekoma Tilt (Circuit Breaker) & Others

Seven new construction permits filed the other day for so-called Zones A through G, each valued at $15 million and taking place throughout the entirety of 2025. A lot of land has been cleared, seems like we're gearing up for full park construction at last.

HERE WE GO EVERYONE! BIG MASSIVE UPDATE FROM THRILLNERDS!

Current Circuit Breaker progress:
The tilt track for the Circuit Breaker has now been installed.
Flags featuring the Netherlands flag, the US flag, and the Vekoma logo have also been placed on the tilt track; maybe COTA's social media will post this.
The maintenance/station area is going along nicely and it may have some futuristic scenery.
-Circuit Breaker will also offer a head chopper moment before the final roll with it going under the tower, proof that this coaster will have fun elements every second!

Log Flume progress:
-Construction continues with Zone D being the official place for where it will stand.
-The layout is the same as when Rides 4U officially announced it as well!

Pavillion progress:
-Footers for the restaurant/rooftop view are being placed.
-The location for this great investment will be in Zone E.

And this is it, THE PARK MAP!
-Zone A includes some of the strongest rides in the park including the Skyblazer and the almost completed Palindrome.
-Zone B will feature the Spin Out Music Express, Evolux, Star Flyer, and the Ferris Wheel is confirmed to be staying in the park!
-Zone C features the rare octopus, tilt-a-whirl, and wacky worm has been confirmed to be staying.
-Zone C also has 2 attractions that are currently hard to understand for now.
-Zone D has a splash pad, a smart investment for the very hot Texas summer/spring.
-In addition, Zone D will have a pirate ship, speedway, restrooms, and ice house, and the mini log flume is confirmed to be staying, a childhood favorite of mine.
-The above zone will also include a Mini-Miami making the park one of the few in the states to have one and balancing the ride lineup.
-2 other attractions in Zone D are hard to understand as well in Zone D.
-Zone E features some surprising additions such as possible FLYING SCOOTERS, Carousel, and the huge restaurant building.
-Zones F/G do include the Myrtle Beach SBF Big Air coaster, maybe it could be called Wheelie!
-The drop tower will feature some breathtaking views of the track and be a more thrilling alternative to their famous observation tower.
-Telecombat is also confirmed as well with the SBF Space Gun being nearby Circuit Breaker.
-This section will also include the bi-plane kiddie attractions which I enjoyed as a child for its up and down motion that I could control.
-The S&S Screamin Swing will have a near-miss element with Texas Wildcat!
-Texas Wildcat will be moved next to Circuit Breaker, perhaps it will get an ACE landmark after its presence at the film premier a month ago.
-Circuit Breaker will also have a plaza for guests to meet up and take photos of one of the most unique coasters out there!

That is a wrap for this update and I am sure more will be revealed in the coming months such as social media, food options, merch, and website!
