COTALAND | Texas | Gerstlauer Infinity Shuttle (Palindrome) & Vekoma Tilt (Circuit Breaker) & Others

Yesterday, I went to Austin to check out the 4DX showing of Twisters. This small trip also warranted me to check out the current status of COTALAND.
-Construction continues between Palindrome and Circuit Breaker.
-The S&S Screamin Swing parts are next to a refurbished Tilt a Whirl tub.
-Giant Wheel and their Super Slide are packed away, either to be sold or moved to their new areas.

I did some research into the offered jobs and more have appeared!
-VP of Food and Beverage, Concession Stand Supervisor, and Culinary Supervisor are now listed on Linkedin! The park could have some amazing local faire ie Amy's Ice Creams, Torchy's Tacos, and Terry Blacks BBQ. There is also a chance that they could try their hand at a Potato Patch stall with one of the mascots being Couch Potatoes from an old Furniture store.

-Work has not yet commenced on where SkyBlazer will be added.
-There has been a massive amount of activity around Circuit Breaker for both the coaster and additional infrastructure.
-Trench work for the Circuit Breaker tunnel continues.

Let's get this motor back running and hit the road with an update from ThrillNerds!

Further updates from this month;

Permits were filed for the construction of their SBF Visa log flume, which has been sitting around since Spring 2023. The project is valued at $5 million and should be completed by the end of April 2025.

COTA is also in the midst of raising $65 million for amusement park construction. Per latest permits they've achieved $46.46 million of that from a handful of unknown donors. Sounds like a middle ground between the Saudi infinite money glitch and projects battling for funds mid-construction. Finances seem stable and it helps to have the racetrack attached, but perhaps not the smoothest sailing of developments?

What impeccable timing with the previous news and a ThrillNerds update!
-More mechanical/electrical work with the Circuit Breaker tower continues.
-Many construction workers are on site working on the project to attempt to make the 2025 opening!
-The tunnel for Circuit Breaker is now done, and the second tunnel is beginning to be worked on too.
-Footers for Circuit Breaker are also continuing to be worked on.
-The area where SkyBlazer will be is in the groundwork stage, an exciting sight to see for a flat ride that currently exists only in concept/parts!
-Palindrome station roof is complete, and control booth work is in progress.
-The area between Palindrome and Circuit Breaker is almost completely flat from dirt.

Here is some additional info about the mini golf course almost being done!
-Mini golf features racing-themed pars with a loop, tire entry points, a rock tunnel, and more!
-Artificial turf is currently being installed.

Permits have been filled for a dining facility with a rooftop terrace! The completion date is set for 4/30/2025. This proves the terrace would be an amazing place to eat, relax, and photograph their headlining attractions!
