Define examples Mike.

I would suggest that someone who became Vice President of the World Football Federation, made countless television appearances might have a bit more claim to celebrity status than a dumb bimbo who manages 8 weeks on some reality show?

Just a very few examples of, unless you have specific knowledge to that subject the person's involved in, you'ld never have heard of them before.
 
Well if it makes news channels and has many reports on it other than viral ones then they should count to be fair.

Wow, someone was up early to hear the news of Stephen Gately. I've just caught it now. I didn't expect it top feature that big in the UK news unlike here.

Its a shame as he always seemed to nice guy in that group and the only one with any talent.
 
That was unexpected. On one of the pictures on Yahoo news it shows him at the Up premier (well he was standing in front of one of those walls that they have at them) so at least he got to see it before he passed away. :)
It's sad that he was so young though.
 
Lol. I may have been slightly dramatic last night I was hammered. Still a bit bummed out.. As I suspect Gately was, many times.. :D
