One end of the sign is bigger then the other, one of the posts isn't even connected to it, and there's no reflection in the water. So, in otherwords,

Photoshop.

^ I never thought of that but it actually does sound like, really logical. I don't know about it capacity-wise though..

I'd be quite upset if it was a Splash Battle though.. Runny makeup </3

Is this definitely a theme, or just confirmation that Paddlewheel Excursions will not be removed for the new ride next year?

^ No ****.

Now for some reason I really do see it being a splash battle.. I dunno why. If it is, have fun on it next year guys because me + cold water + makeup = < / 3

I'll be pissed.

^Now I do want a Splash Battle, because:

1. The one at SFGAm was battle then half the rides
2. To force Taylor on it

2010 - Whyte Lightning - Rumor - (8/28/09) While we still don’t know much about CP’s 2010 project, more and more rumors suggest that it will be a new flume ride of some kind. A nice themed water ride would be a nice change of pace I think if true. The question is… who will make it if it is a water ride? Some rumors have suggested Intamin… but they don’t exactly have a great track record when it comes to flume rides, and so far Cedar Fair hasn’t given Mack’s flumes a shot yet.
Why else could it be a new flume ride? Well it has been pointed out to me that the very name, Whyte Lightning, may be a throwback to the White Water Landing flume that was removed to make room for Maverick. This also makes the “Lightning Strikes TwYce” tagline make more sense. Plus the descriptive terms and “wet” theme of a beverage (Refreshing) could easily be used to describe a new water ride as well.

Taylor; All they're saying is that Paddlewheel Excursions won't be removed. The ride, whatever it is(whether it's a log flume, a plug n' play, a GCI, a 600 foot tall floorless stand up inverted spinning accelerator dive machine, or anything else), it will be built to allow Paddlewheel Excursions to continue operating. They did it with MF, and they can do it again.

^^ I know, haha, but I do think it will be a water thing of some sort and I was just saying, I would be upset if it were a splash battle, but I don't think capacity on those is high enough to meet Cedar Point's needs.

^With all your piercings you would like, rust o it.
How about we stay on topic.

Anyways, looking at the sign closer, you can tell that it's photoshopped. I don't have time to go over and look at what they have done but no one has posted a picture of a sign on pointbuzz or any other site. So that must mean it's fake.

We know it's not an Aquatrax, S&S, a B&M, a Grav. Group, a Mack, a Gerstlauer, a Togo, or a GCI.

That leaves with either an Intamin Plug 'n Play, some other Intamin ride, or some form of a flat.

The Mack Splash Battles are people-eating monsters.

Ours gets like 1800-1900 an hour, and that's without all 14 boats on the course.

...on the two days this year that it even had a line longer than 5 minutes.
