What's new

Canada's Wonderland | Alpenfury | Premier Rides Launch Coaster | 2025

I like it's simplicity and looks better than other trains they are known for. The true test will be getting in and out of course.

Them black track pieces are here for the mountain and kinda fire;

In the meantime here’s a couple of vanity pics I took at IAAPA last week because I arrived early for a good spot at the reveal and am extremely hyped to have it at home.

This be the limited edition pin they were giving out that morning;

Also ran into park honchos at the booth on my way out, had the best conversation I could have as a mildly excitable student. Yes they are intending to open it in May despite the huge amount of work still needing to be done, no the final budget will never be published and remain a closely guarded secret (code for its literally through the mountain roof).

Went up to check out Winterfest and meet up with the community, going to shamelessly self-plug;

Other updates with stuff that couldn’t be photographed. Minebuster is missing all the track on its first half, with word suggesting “steel track from Colorado” (???). It includes a decent piece that was rebuilt in 2023, so not sure what this is.

Leviathan also has a shiny new gear box chilling in the queue, which has been partially disassembled. A protégé got close to it but it was via mildly (poorly) restricted access so I don’t want to personally be responsible for a possible photo spread. Doesn’t appear too dissimilar to this.

Let'ts hope this is real. I'm sick of that ride that should provide fun forces just jackhammering me and busting my spine. I've been wanting an RMC or GG retrack/remake for over a decade at this point.
The first half of the ride was actually pretty decent for me during my one ride in June. It's the ending helix that got me. Pain.

The first half was forcesless and as you said, the ending was just pain. Would love to see that fixed on what in theory should be a good layout.
