This wouldn't be the first time a shoddy NL rendering was used for announcement...

It's so bad it's almost sarcastic! Very 90's.

Amanda Thompson interview at the Mack Rides factory discussing about the new ride coming in 2018!

I highly recommend subscribing to PBE (Scott88) for all the latest updates on the construction project!

----- THE EXCITEMENT IS BUILDING!

Amanda doesn't look right without sunglasses perched on her head and not shouting.

The interview itself is void of anything interesting or new, but what I could gather from it is Amanda's genuine passion for the ride, the park and the town.

But yeah, lacked sunglasses and shouting.

For the people worried that Blackpool would put OTSR on this, you will be worried no more...

Not sure anyone was particularly worried, having seen that picture >2 weeks ago (and 10 pages back in this thread) ;-)

However I'm a bit worried that if you ride it in the cold, your hands will get cold cause the handles look metallic (I've never ridden a Mack mega)...

Heard of these?

I hate gloves for a start, and I usually hold on cause my arms get tired quickly...

Look maam, as a coaster enthusiast, I obviously have to find something to complain about...

By the way, if you are 99, did you watch the big dipper getting built?

Those trains aren't for this, though?
Yeah, Mack are still working on 5 other projects for this year and 2017, chances are those trains are for something like Star Trek rather than this. There's no chance they build the trains this far in advance.

Groundwork will really kick in for this new coaster just after the Pleasure Beach season is finished (6th November), so I don't think much is going to change in the area where its going between now and the end of the year, I think track will arrive at the Pleasure Beach around this time next year.

Another Construction 18 Interview, but this one is with Nick Thompson. Full credit goes to Pleasure Beach Experience (Scott88):

Yeah, this will not be 'one of the most exciting rides on the planet', just no. If I was Nick, I'd be pushing it to be named 'the UK's most exciting' etc., it's not gonna come close to Helix or Taron in terms of intensity, experience or excitement.
