Worst Queuelines

Uhh, Nitro's really isn't my favourite but I don't think that's due to the queue itself, but rather the fact that it was disgustingly hot out the day I rode it.

Any line where you can't see the ride moving is kind of boring. There's nothing to look at, and if the line is over like, half an hour, it seems to go by soo slow. Millennium's is probably one of my least favourite ones though, to be honest.

If I had to narrow it down then I'd say Top Thrill Dragster.

Superman UF at Great America, due to the extremely long line and lack of shade especially during the hot summers. The queve seems to be about a mile long, if it is all used.

Oakwood speed, every one tries topush past you as it is/was so wide.
Shockwave the smell once made me physicly sick making the smell even worse  That que is just an infested chavish hell building. Plus when it rains brakes don't work on the ride. Shutting of the two front rows.
Air 28 degree heat 3 hours and an 1 hour for break downs. Thank goodness they have an outlet 3/4 of the way through the que.

Shockwave 1st, Speed 2nd and 3rd air

Air is a dodgy queue, I forget about its extension queue.

Speed because its just wide and silly.

Rita- Cattle Pen of the UK

Goliath at SFOG was pretty bad when I was there in 2006. It was nothing more than a cattle pen dropped right into the main path, with no shade. There was music though, so that helped it a bit.

G-Force at Drayton Manor.

It's like queuing in a cargo shed. The music is the only thing that makes it just bearable.

Millennium Force, Mean Streak, and TTD they are nothing but cattle pens and then there is minimul shade.
I like Cedar Point, but when someone talks about how great it is I always think back to all of their stinking queues that offer us nothing but boredom and heat stroke. I need to go on the one day in the whole season when it's slow up there. The lines are my only complaint about that park. Otherwise that place is an A.

Anything at SFA. Every other park doesn't even come close to as <img> as this place is.

I think its more of how the park is run then anything... like total ****.

I have to agree, the queuelines are not the most pleasant during a hot summer's day, Dragster being the worst for me.

That is where i applaud the job Cedar Point did with Maverick's queue, simply keeping White Water Landing's old queueline which already has plenty of natural shade and building through the old station.

But yeah, though they offer shade with some lines and misters, it can be treacherous.

Mission Space Rider: "Ah, we're finally out of this boring empty cattlepen and we're at the loadi- oh fsck..."

El Toro Rider: "Why the hell did they design a queue with no fans, no shade, and 90 cattlepens?"

Superman Ride of steel is also really long, hot, and filled with chewing gum and line jumpers.

Oh, and the Tower of Terror queue at WDW is boring and uninspired. :( </sarcasm>

My favorite thing about El Toro's queue is that it's covered in sand.

An absolutely brilliant move for a coaster that ejects ANYTHING in the train upward on the hills.

Well in their defense, they didn't put the sand on the queue itself, but it was inevitable to happen since the sand is right near the queue.

Also provides some nice sand to face action on the ride.

As an added bonus, you can hop off El Toro and ride Kingda Ka in the rain for wonderful stinging rain in face action. :--D

I find the Hex queue very boring as well. Although it suits the attraction, it's just an extrmely long cattlepen in the dark, and the monitors hardly ever work now. :(

The cartoon videos you are forced to watch while waiting for the Hulk make me want to leave the planet. Fortunately, during the off season, there is only a ten minute wait for the ride.

Deja Vu's is quite horrible. It moves incredibly slowly and has no theming. At least it has a covering.

Top Thrill Dragster's line just seems endless with all those cutbacks. The other thing about it that sucks is the proximity to the brake run. The mechanism that raises and lowers the brake fins is so freaking loud!

Thats why you go when the lines are short. But the cutbacks do seem to go fast.. faster then MF's at least.
