Was I talking to you there?

No. I was not. I was talking to whatever that other guy is called. I aint scrolling to check.

^ I see your point there, arrow have made some innovative designs and really started inversions off, but some of the boundaries they broke shouldn't have been broken *cough* pipeline *cough* :--D

But yeah they did strive towards newer things all the time, which is always good.

Ok is this better. I think B&M are the best because they make smooth, intense roller coasters with perfectly placed inversions. They also make good airtime coasters. :--D

Happy Now?

About arrow, the only development that I know of that we could credit them are some inversions (most are just different combination of parts of loops and corkscrews) and the 4D coaster.

Both Suspended and Pipeline coasters were built before Arrow started their development for the same. They were built by MBB and Togo respectively.

For me it must be Schwarzkopf with Intamin, Togo and Gerstlauer close behind.

The reason why I choose Schwarzkopf, well they don't produce any new rides, but the ones that are still out there are smooth!!, thrilling and packs a real punch. They are usually more fun to ride then the newer spawns of coaster.

Of the newer company's then Intamin would probably take it, with it sheer number of rides and models, and the fact that they are still a company that are pushing the boundaries of forces and speed.
I have grown a bit of a sweet spot for Togo, I know that many people doesn't like them, but they haven't been to Japan yet. Where there is loads of great Togo stuff.
And Gerstlauer for their great new smaller coasters, they are loads of fun for the whole family.

Why is B&M not on the list, of what I have ridden then they haven't made something really special for a long time, most of the rides are more or less the same, uses the same elements and the ride is more or less the same. Only Oblivion have made a good impression for me really, but most of the other stuff are just a bit meh.

Do they lol. As I said before at the moment they are my no1 but soon I dont think they will be. Some of their newer coasters just let me down and they are far to much of the same. Lift hill drop loop and they are not intense enough.

Go on Silver Star and tell me where the air time is? go on EGF and thats air time.

And the other thing I have noticed B&M's do not seem to age that well.

Looks like it is an unanimous victory for B&M, which is hardly surprising. I voted for them and the only other real contender is Intamin

I am a fan of B&Ms, Kraken, Oblivion and both of the Nemesis' are my examples of a good B&M in my opinion.

To be fair, Air was only built to give riders a new experience and wasn't designed for thrills...

...was is? If it was they failed miserably!

Have you ridden every B&M coaster out there? I thought not, so don't say they're all good if you can't even give a justified opinion!

How come you think Kraken is great? Out of curiosity. I think it's probably the most bland piece of metal I've ever ridden around.

Air is boring as well. Sure it was cool to get a sensation of flying, but it's unique style, on an international standard, is wearing off. Tastu was crap as well, but so much better than Air. You can't deny the fact Air isn't that exciting, even if it does give you a sensation of flying.

Mantis is one of the worst roller coasters I've ever ridden, let alone a bad B&M. But it gives you the sensation of standing up, so I suppose it's all okay? You wouldn't say that about Mantis. I know Air is designed to feel free and restless, but it's boring. You can be free and restless and exciting at the same time! Just something to make it a bit more re-rideable!

Roller coaster manufacturers build so many coasters, it would be near impossible for them not to make a 'bad' ride, considering that it is all just opinion. N you can never please everybody.

As for my favourite, I don't know. B&M are awsome, however, Intamin seem to be much more innovative, and offer such a variety of designs and pull them all off. It's incredible.

I think I might actually go for Intamin.

As i said Air wasn't meant to be exciting and I DEFINITELY didn't say it was as it isn't and I find Kraken a thrilling coaster, it's not very imaginative but it is a thrilling coaster. I don't know about Mantis but I've heard it's crap so i'll agree with you and finally I KNOW I haven't ridden all the coasters by B&M, I was just making a point that I haven't heard people putting down many BM coasters other than mantis.

If you think Air is boring, fair enough, everyone is entitled to an opinion, I love it for the reason that it's very unique but I hope thats sorted it out for you. I'm sorry I said such a bad statement I should have said MOST BM coasters are excellent.

Oh and lastly I hope you voted for Intamin as you said that.
