When I visited TP again in March I went back on Saw, now I see what the whole fuss is about. It went from being my favourite coaster at the park to about 4th. I'd ridden it around 3 times before and never had a problem, it always seemed very smooth and of solid build, when I rode it this year the coaster was really shaking on the first couple of outdoor elements and just throwing me into the OTSR, the mid course was a breath of relief and then it started again, even the brakes coming into the station and moving into each block were harsh.

Stealth seemed to be running very well and giving ejector on the top hat and the speed hill, hammering the nails into SAW's coffin.

I just can't understand how a ride experience can fluctuate so drastically in less that a year, it felt like the whole structure was just allowed to move too much, but how could that have changed over time? I don't know if I was somehow blind to it before or if it is a major consistency issue.

For me, The problem with Saw is the elements are way to sharp to be comfy. The overbank really throws you around and the 2nd immelman is the worst inversion I've done.

I've ridden 4 of the eurofighters now.

1st experience - speed at oakwood - back in '06 - enjoyed it, but found it too intense for multiple rides, not sure how it's aged since then

2nd - Rage - was ok in the opening season, and didn't find it too intense and got a few rides in during ERT, rode again before the denmark/germany live and it was awful - was so rough.

3rd - saw - have ridden about 10 times in total - and really like it (even if it's too intense for more than 2-3 rides)- great indoor bit and love the whole thing - worst aspect for me is the lift hill (or the queue if it's hot)! Never experienced anything more than a minor ear bashing, and certainly not the "feelz like my brains gonna explode" thing most people seem to mention. Every time I ride I'm thinking I might feel the awful roughness, but no.

4th - fluch on the euro live - I actually didn't think this was as good as other people are suggesting - the outdoor section looks as if it's going to be great, but I found it underwhelming, and the indoor bit after the vertical lift hill I found really juddery - I did have a few rides during ERT in various seats, and found it rough in most places.

takabisha looks pretty awful on that video - so I'll go with saw!
