What's new

Walibi Holland | YoY | RMC Raptor | 2025

Wild Water West in South Dakota mentioned plans to get a standard Raptor quite some time ago. It could easily have been cancelled/shuffled around like the KK one, but I think it's safe to assume WWW is still the recipient (unless new info comes to light, of course).

Pretty sure they were about to get one, then a certain worldwide event happened, and that coaster got shuffled to Silverwood. Been a while since I thought about that, so please correct if wrong, but I think that's the story.
Exactly. They could be trying again.

Anyone who’s visited that park since the Pandemic knows that it’s in no state for a large addition like that. They don’t even have enough money to remove T3, much less install anything at all, especially a new coaster.

Does anyone think that by 2026 or 2027, Six Flags Over Georgia removes their Go Karts in favor for a large scale Raptor that’s size of Wonder Woman at Magic Mountain? A lot of us Georgians are rooting for one to be built at the park for quite a long time. There’s plenty of room for one to build it in that specific area

Valid question buttttttt this doesn't have much to do with Walibi Holland at....well, all. Could work on a separate thread, though!

It appears that most of the work on the soon to be footers of both rides, is complete. However the whole right side where the stripped building is located now, is completely empty, the area is however being prepared for construction work. The location of the large concrete truck seems to be for a turn for both layouts.

Images are from Looopings.nl. The pictures were taken from the lift of Goliath. With the event of this weekend (Walibi Play) I assume Looopings got the pictures from the video of a vlogger that had permission to film onride.

Do they have a policy in that area that demands track whose colour fits into the landscape when having a certain height? Goliath is already blue.

Seems like a lighter shade of blue to Golaith, but maybe the colour was picked to contrast with the other single rail track.

They don't as far as I'm aware. This is purely an aesthetic decision, and Goliath was only painted blue around 2017. It was neon green with purple supports before (🤢)
Absolutely love this shade of blue, hoping for green or yellow for the second coaster!

Footers a'plenty have gone up. Looks like the two raptors are going to take up a pretty big area.

As far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong) all the raptors built so far have blueprints that cover a narrow but long stretched area. This ride actually looks to be covering a more-square-ish area. So there's a good chance this layout is going to be very different from what we have seen so far.
