Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown

My expectations for this were high after how good the original WWoHP is themed. This has just blown me away at how good this is going to look.

To think this is just the bank, the whole Diagon alley and everything is just going to be so incredible if these pictures are anything to go by.

Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown

It isn't a coaster then is it? Not once do they mention it. It's a '3D ride'. Disappointing really.

Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown

^ Why would a dark ride have individual restraints if it doesn't have coaster sections?

Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown

That's a fair point, I'm just wondering why they aren't advertising it as a coaster? Surely that'd be a better selling point than 3D ride?

Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown

It looks well themed, the robot things the other day look really dated now after seeing what Disney are doing. The ones they showed looked really jerky etc.

I am also finding it strange that no where does it say coaster. It's on coaster tracks maybe there will be a small section.

I'm not disappointed if it's not a coaster as it will still be a good dark ride.

Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown

Yeah, 'disappointing' was too strong a word. It still looks pretty decent. Just a shame it won't be another cred come the summer but, as they say, credz aren't everything ;)

Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown

Well it has two launches in it and a drop into a tunnel so there are coaster elements but also scene elements

Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown

It's listed on rcdb, I know that don't mean much as power coasters are as well.

Am sure this will cause the debate of is it or is it not. If it's listed then it is simple really.

Source?

Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown

If it's in the link above, you should have posted it separately, so I'm gonna post it anyway.

It 100% seems to have some coasting unless it's just a cart that wanders through various different cinema screens with the cart tilting and vibrating

Looks amazing, so much better than that **** with the dwarves.

Yeah as a ride I think it's going to blow most things away. The other Potter ride is the best dark ride I've ever been on and if this is better than that then wow.

Cannot wait to see all these effects etc.

He already knows the source he just wants to try to knock me down in public again even though I was right about the cars and the 3D glasses on the ride....

Wow.

We want to know your source, so just spit it out. Everything is a battle with you. Show that you're not child and say where you heard it from?

You've only mentioned stuff that was all over the web anyway.

If people look back at the start of this it was always going to have 3d effects etc.

The pictures of the trains were online before you posted them.

People always described this as a coaster like the Mummy but a step further used screens and effects.

Not everyone can always give away where they got the information from. However sometimes it's best not to say "told you so".

I heard it from HTF on Orlando United, I have also seen it with my eyes on a Samsung Galaxy Tab, pictures that arent on the internet showing in depth plans of the attraction. There was also concept art on the teeter totter effect and other elements on the ride including the Kuka arm section.

It's going to be an incredible experience by the looks of the video! A coaster with both dark ride and 3D elements, could possibly be one of the best ride experiences in the world.
