So the first major change is Furius Baco dropping out completely after me re-riding it a few weeks ago on rows other than the front. Still a fun coaster but not top ten worthy by any means due to the roughness.

The second is even more dramatic as I’ve decided to move Nemesis down my list. I’ve ridden it a lot this year and while I still love it, I have to admit that I’ve probably been rating it too highly due to nostalgia and after riding Shambhala 11 times earlier this month I have to concede that it is better than Nemesis. However, I also still believe that Wicked Cyclone and Goliath are better than ShammyB, so the only solution is to drop Nemmy down to fifth.

My only new entry this year is Hyperion, but there were a few other candidates such as Lech, Formula and Red Force which were all very enjoyable but didn’t quite make the cut.

Once again, since I have no woodies in my top ten at the moment, here's my current top ten woodies with a couple of new entries this year:

I had a combined Top 50(ish) on Coaster-Count but their favourites function is not available at the moment. As for The Comet, I liked it but it is probably more illustrative of the overall quality of the woodies I've ridden than anything else. Some of the rides lower on the list I have only ridden once or twice so it's hard to gauge how good or bad they are from that.

I'm absolutely shocked about Sea World. Keep in mind, 15-20 are pretty interchangeable as I've never really kept past 10, but these rides were something else. Kraken was amazingly smooth and forceful for something of its age. Manta was just beautiful, and then Mako. Oh Mako. Back row, far left is amazing. Great airtime, solid flojector to ejector on several his, and just great. Surprise of this trip for sure.

Honorable mention to Expedition Everest. It's nothing great, but it's a ****ing blast. That said, I'm inching closer and closer to 200, with plans to make it Steel Vengeance next year. One last trip to SFOG planned this year for new creds, and hopefully I'll hit 300 next year too.

So X2 is back on top. Little favoritism? Maybe. It ultimately came down to this. Rideability. X2 is now more reliable than Lightning Rod which should be a joke. Also, my waits have been non existent my past two visits there. The final aspect was I got to see my niece have the look of goon as we hit the brake run and immediately ask to ride again.

Other than that, Tatsu made a rise after riding it again after 7 years.

Will finally hit 200 this year, and may get much higher if a few trips pan out.
