the ride and themeing looks great, cant wait to ride this in march! great to see alton adding a new thrill seeker ride and also a worlds first!

Without page wading, I assume there is still no news on the worlds first bit? Except that it's probably some sort of switch back and it's probably inside the building?

I've noticed that Alton have already made changed to the original plan...

Theres a window, where the tree is now at.
They're either keeping things closer to them or they are just skimping...

^well the tree isn't finished yet, so I'm not gonna decide until it is.

And even if it does look a bit shabby, I still don't think they're skimping - the tree probably still cost them a lot, even if it looks bad.

Isn't the whole backstory about the forest taking over the buildings or sommat?

Either that or giving a small link between that area theme and Hex...

It'll probably be more of an attention drawer than a relatively simple window pane...

I am not going by what the tree looks like now, I just prefer the look of the building as it was meant to be thats all.

Will see when its finished anyway, I dont think it makes a big difference anyway :)

Well the tree keeps being extended. The branches are slowly wrapping themselves along the building and around the roof.

Also haven't seen much work done to the queueline but that's probably due to all the pics showing the ride.

The tree is cool. It looks like zit puss on a mirror, but yeah, its alright

I'd prefer it if the theming was more than just a pretty building and an entrance gate like to the extent of most modern UK rides. But we'll have to wait and see I suppose...

I hope the queue plans arn't the finals too. They could spread it a bit and create a forest like Vampire's... and drop a few themed buildings, sculptures etc for you to go over and under, so its a bit more interactive (if thats a good word to use?!).

How comes with Saw everyone complains the themeing stops when you get outside but with this everyone's praising it for having good themeing when there's even less outside than Saw has? :p

tks said:
Because it's not at Thorpe. And it's not <img>.

Is the correct answer ;)

Also, this building looks a million times better than Saw's... Plus they've cheated through putting the story to a ride through the forest...

The outside of Saw is more impressive than this at the moment. Saw has more to it whereas this is just fake bricks and half a fake tree.
But it's not finished yet so will have to see once it's done.
I like the theme though.

Whilst it's admirable that you continue to do so - please stop defending it

Plus, why do you have a Th13teen/Alton set and not a Saw/Thorpe set? ;)
