Yeah I've seen that in a number of places (not just the BBC) with that clickbait headline about Disney+.

But digging a bit into it, it seems the objection (well, the "agree to arbitration" clause) was more based on them buying a ticket to DisneyWorld that day instead?

But even more than that, it was the Raglan Road place at Disney Springs (who are independent operators) anyway, rather than it even being a "Disney Restaurant" - so they are really suing them (possibly as well as Disney?)

Anyway, good clickbait headline none the less! ;)

That's what I saw from digging further as well. Although I read that that although the restaurant is independent it's still Disney that's responsible for recruitment, hiring and training the staff? If so then it would still fall on them. Regardless, it goes to show how important food safety training is as cross contamination can happen so easily if they're not paying attention or don't have the proper procedures in place and in this case it resulted in someone dying.

As for the arbitration clause, it does seem like it was from the Epcot ticket they purchased, but the fact it's also in the terms for Disney+ as well is a bit nuts.
Looking back at previous incidents and lawsuits it does seem to be quite common for Disney and Universal to settle claims through arbitration. Not only is it quicker and cheaper but the main reason they seem to push for it is for their reputation as it's all settled privately rather than publicly through a court of law.
 
A serious incident occured on Radja River at Walibi Belgium on Wednesday. After shutting down the ride to solve a technical issue, several boats got stuck in the trough and the following evacuation proved to be chaotic, resulting in at least one boat filling up with water and a man falling into the river and getting dragged away by the current.


The man survived but recieved severe back injuries, and Belgian police questioned several guests and park staff involved in the incident. Radja River has since re-opened.

Most (all?) of the food and drinks places at Disney Springs / Disney Village etc are franchised and run by Disney directly. They are trying to wriggle their way out of it, by claiming it's a third party, but really they are franchises.

The user who sells the coaster also sells three other rides from Schwaben Park:
So I assume it's Wilde Hilde.
 
A new fun house designed by Gosetto Srl will debut at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights on the Jersey Shore next year. The "Fun Factory" replaces the Surf Shack fun house, which has been removed. It's the pier's third fun house attraction after the original was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Source
