^To be fair Dave, you should by all accounts, be gay.

Eh, whenever women tell me that they think I'm fit and whatever, (it happened yesterday <3), I just feel honored, so, eh to you Snoo.

Well, Ben, you my friend, are gay. I am not. The rules are a bit different for yourself, because you might retain a shred of heterosexuality in your body. On the other hand, besides my massive homo-erotic tendencies, haven't a shred of homosexuality in my body.

So.. eh to you Ben.

Since I become a little more conscious of my appearance, I've had more blokes compliment me than girls. (That's a sorry state of affairs in a way because I don't have that many female friends outside of CF.)

It really does not matter to me who finds me attractive as long as somebody does!

I'm straight.

But the girls don't find me very sexy. Hell, most can't see me as more then a friend. I'm bad at dating...

Perhaps these people that are uncomfortable about members of the same sex coming on to them are scared they might actually like it, or are not certain/comfortable with thier sexuality. I'm not saying you fall into those categories, I'm just saying that it's a possibility.

That or they had a bad childhood experience. However, that doesn't happen as much as the fear does.

Goodness, you'd think I just slandered a race or something, the way people are reacting to that...

Well, you sort of did...

"Ewww... a gay thinks I'm fit, RUN!"

Please.. PLEASE tell me your not ignorant enough to compare someone being uncomfortable if a gay person likes them to someone bashing a race. PLEASE tell me your not that stupid Ben.

Why all of you are blowing his opinions all out of proportion blows my mind. Guys, its how he feels. Why do you all act like hes hellspawn because he wouldn't feel comfortable with a gay person liking him?

If you want the honest truth, it's because my upbringing had alot of homophobia in it.

That is no excuse.

I had a homophobic (and rascist for that matter) upbringing, too, however, I'm older enough, and clever enough, to actually make my own mind up without influences from my childhood.

It's through CF that my attitudes changed. One day you'll wake up and reaslise that they people are just people, but just some happen to be gay/black/fat/short etc. and it should not matter to your life if they find you attractive or not.

What if I told you I'd hate the thought of a black person liking me? After all, I had quite a racist upbringing. Am I racist? Unless you're French or taking English people's money, no.

Your posts came across as quite homophobic, even if that wasn't the actual feelings behind it. And, as such, quite possibly offensive to a... say, group of people. So, what's the real difference? Neither things can change.

Here here!!

You've totally missed the point.

The point was "you find it uncomfortable with a gay person fancying you". I explained that I find it hard to believe that anybody is uncomfortable with anybody fancying them.

I am most certainly not politically correct. Ask anybody from CF that has spent time with me and they'll tell you that I wear my heart on my sleeve. I am not standing up for gay rights and I never will do because in my eyes, people are people and are equal. I'm just seeing the world through a more open minded viewpoint.

Then again, perhaps I am narrow minded because I can't accept the fact that you are not comfortable with a gay man fancying you.

I am not calling you a bigot, or homophobic. I'm just a little disturbed with your attitude towards people that did not choose to be the way they are, or who they fancy.

Take it or leave it. That is the end of the story.

I can actually appreciate UC's viewpoint here. It doesn't make him homophobic or wrong or rude or anything if he would be uncomfortable with it.

There are certain things for some people that just are outside of their comfort zone, but that does not make them ignorant or narrow minded. I can bet you that everyone here would feel uncomfortable if a certain type of person fancied them, and that's life.

Jesus, even I would feel uncomfortable if certain gays fancied me. Shoot me down, everyone, I must be a homophobe.

It's closed minded to bash down someone's viewpoint when it's not doing anybody any harm, and it certainly isn't actively offending anybody. And if there are any homosexuals here who were offended by it, they seriously need to wake up and smell the fuchsia.

I never called anyone closed-minded, I just said I find it difficult to accept that people find it uncomfortable for anybody to fancy them, regradless of sexuality, colour etc.

Again, that's their viewpoint and they are entitled to it but I just don't understand it but I accept it.

For example, Chris/ATMAD tells me he fancies me. I'm not intersted in him in the slightest and never will be, but I'm comfortable with it.

It's allright for you anyway, kir. You could have anyone you wanted

I guess that's why people are different. And I'm glad they are.

Im straight. I'm in love with an amazing girl, And I would never be gay.
