Blimey wasn't expecting that! Looks really good and looks like it is going up really nicely. Should be good.

Wow, very mystery mine, so that is the drop out of the station that will lead onto the heartline?

Where did that come from...?

I'm impressed.

It's still a Eurofighter, so it'll still be pretty crap, but, oh well...

They should have got the Intamin version...

Although that does look much better than I was expecting, I'm not gonna jump to any conclusions about what the entire ride will be like based on a couple of bits of track. But that is looking pretty cool.

I preferred Speed, it's longer, the loop is very intense, the drop is better and the air-time hill is very powerful. However, I don't think either rides are very remarkable to be honest.

I just wish that they'd learn how to make round corners rather than square ones!

Thing is, quite often it's the atmosphere of a ride which can make or break it. If they get the station and pre-drop right on this, it can help bolster your opinion of the ride before it really even starts. This is looking much better than I imagined already, and I don't doubt it'll take the crown of <img> which is "UK's best Eurofighter"

I think Mystery Mine will keep the world's best title :)

Keep hoping you'll eat those words; we might be expecting something much greater than we imagined. We personally have no idea what the theming is going to be like, will it be on par with MM? Doubtfully; but I'm keeping my hopes up on this one, Thorpe Park was once Tussauds, now its Merlin, so what we're expecting will be unknown; this is their first major attraction after they took over the Tussauds parks in UK.

With some of the feature's basically 'copied' from Mystery Mine, there will be a lot of flaming acrosss the internet, but its England after all! But with the additional height, steeper drop and a much more intense layout this may prove well for Dylan.

Possibly it will be without a doubt a "world's best" for England. We don't have many of these; not sure if we have any

I see black plastic bag. They have already put up the bins.

And they have put up the fences of the area too, wow, I think themeing is nearly complete!

Thanks for the picture update guys!

The construction's looking very optimistic! :--D

lol.

Anyway I love the look of the drop, it looks really cool and with some nice themeing it should be good.

Oh and it loks like it goes into a little hole, am I right?

I don't understand just quiete where that second bit of track is situated on the ride, where is it?

I'm waiting for this to be done before I get back to Thorpe. When do the re-open next year with Dylan open, does anybody know? As I can't remember the situation with staying open longer than other Merlin parks that they did last season?

I think it should be open for Opening Day next year.

Hopefully anyway, that's probly the only time I'll go to Thorpe next year.

I swear they had like next to no footers, yet somehow they've built some of it. Looks like it could be an interesting ride if they can pull the theming off well :D

the offical opening of the Ride is (Hoped march 13th) i over heard managment saying about it today when i went in to the operations suit.
so good luck to them

Would make sense seeing as all the videos are getting released on the 13th of each month, and its themed to horror, and 13th march is a Friday!

I like the way they're promoting this!

But there is Friday 13th Febuary as well.

Half term-opening anyone? With the new coaster would draw massive crowds.

Half-term last year was dead, but if they coincide the new coaster with it...
