When as it ever supposed to be themed to a mine? I thought it was (and still is to some extent) an abandonned canadian logging mill.

And I wanted the base of th elift to be inside, too. The illusion would have been better if you couldn't easilly see every car glide past them without even comming close. They should blatently turn too, which I'm fairly sure they do not.

I like the cop car. I don't see why people are winging. It's a crime scene. There's a police car. Makes sense to me.

Some updates from today.

Signs waiting to be put up:

And the signs and tester seat are now in place (also notice the yellow police tape by the fastrack entrance:

I'm trying to work out what that small square sign says. I think it's about the recommended age restriction.

^ to be honest I wouldn't get too excited about he sign you might be dissapointed...

It may call it the scariest ride in the world again!

I like the idea of police tape, very clever

I think it says "Please be aware that there are live actors in the queue line. Anyone found verbally or physically abusing the actors may be removed from the park"

I might be wrong though

Oh yeah just got the image larger.

OMG LIVE ACTORS YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNN!!!!

There's something written in red on it as well but can't make out what it says.

^ Ha, close enough, and that was from squinting at the smaller picture

Woo, Live Actors  How long will they last?

Have tbh I dont really like the fences being that high its going to feel quiet closed it, I am happy they are not solid as that would be even worse.

There are alot of people that dont like live actors in attractions so yet again this is not the best way to go There should be 2 queue systems one with actors one without.

Sorry I know I sound really picky but they need to cater for people who simply dont like that, I know a number of people who will not go on this if there are live actors.

Give it a month or 2 and they will be gone anyway.

^maybe, but then that would give away the surprise in the queue. I think ollie has already ruined it by saying that there is going to be interaction. The most obvious thing is it says pretty much the same as every sign near a tester seat. Im thinking something along the lines of that...

Obviously not that broad because of the size of both signs, but i would think something along them lines.

The live actors bit is amazing, Im so glad, I safely think we can class it as a scare attraction now too, (if the stories are true)

As I said though just remember there are people that dont like live actors, and its not fair if they can not ride this coaster due to the queue line.

Actors dont bother me but I know of 4 people who would probably give this a miss now. And these are people from CF.

I can't see them lasting though.

Look at Stealth. That was supposed to have a live DJ in the trailer, and the only time that they've had one was the first few weeks of its opening year. I would imagine the live actors in Saw would follow a similar pattern, and come the summer you'll never see them again. :p

The queue runs along wall with all the scenes to the left of the queue. If you don't want to look or see the actors then just look right so you're facing the wall. :)

I am sure that there will be the same type of system that El Diablo has during Halloween at PA... They give you the choice to go through the walkthrough part, and if you don't want to, you walk up the exit!

Ollie as I said there are people that dont like it and they should not be forced to be put through that to ride a coaster.

When people said live actors though I thought you meant as in jump out at you, if they are acting bits of the film its probably ok.

I think people still need to remember this is a COASTER at the end of the day.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. A way to make the queue time is even longer and extremely predictable (the shock value will wear off VERY quick). I hate these Live Actor things at the best of times and this is no exception. I will do it the once, begrudginly, but I don't relish the idea of having to do it every time that I want to ride! I kinda knew this one was coming tbh, it was obvious. Shame they couldn't be a little more inventive then basically installing a fright night attraction all year round. I know that sounds like a great idea, but that kind of voids the whole thing that makes fright nights so cool and special. The Mazes... Well now they have one all year round.... Who is going to be as bothered come by another three of the same thing come Halloween. The reason Halloween was always so busy is because there was a limited time in which people could visit and do these horror mazes, now they are basically putting one in full time. Don't really need Fright Nites as much in my eyes...

Besides my personal views, I can imagine this operating in a similar fashion to Scream at Madame Tussauds (and pretty much how the usual mazes work). I know I mentioned about extra queue time because of it slowing it down but if they do operate it the same way it should be reasonably quick moving, but I wouldn't bet on it. Especially when you compare the numbers. Scream @ MTs struggles when under the pressure of 13'000 guests a day in the summer with queues easily backing right up into the previous exhibitions. I would imagine SAW is likely to be dealing with much higher numbers and I imagine you guys can guess where I am going with this....

Well the Age Restriction part would come into play now. I doubt there will be a definitive restriction but more a guideline. Again, Scream operates a 'Not suitable for under 12s' policy meaning that anyone can go in, but under 12s should do so with parental supervision. The general rule is "they can go in, but only with you and on we accept no responsibility for how they react" etc. Now, in theory and according to the park rules, there should not be any under 12s in the park without an adult. Whether this happens is a little beyond me.

Perhaps it will work... I just don't appreciate being forced into doing something I don't want to do!

^Especially if one of them is going to be in The Ra..... oops almost said too much then.
Also, can I just ask, in case I missed it, but where are you getting all of your information that you can't share, but seem to love mentioning it anyway, Ollie?

The exit is the Exit Only on SAW...

Like the look of this, but looking at what people have said about the sign.. They might not have actors in there all the time, and do what Disney do. Have a sign outside the park saying there will be filming going on.. when there's no one around the park filming..
