Real Madrid World | Hala Madrid | GCI Wooden Hybrid Coaster | 2024

Interestingly it only takes only half the old Bollywood property. (I assume the shape of the land area may be a sign to Barcelona fans? 😂 )

Hala Madrid has opened from what I can tell, since there are a few videos of the park where you see it run with guests on it. Can't seem to find any POV as of yet, though.

RCDB also says it's opened.

We usually wait for POVs or something before unstickying the thread, but as @Dubaidave says, they seem to have a strict policy against that, so I guess we'll have to do without that this time.

I’ve still not been. They keep saying they will give me tickets but nothing yet. Reluctant to pay for what doesn’t seem that good a park.

Looks very legal.

I was able to do this one in October 24 after deciding if we should spend the money for the park or not.
The coaster is in my opinion the worst GCI I've ever done, even dethroning Joris en de Draak.
The Drop and double up are both good, but afterwards it is just there and doing things. It is long, but none of the Airtime moments really delivered.

As the park isn't included in any of the tourism passes, I wouldn't recommend it. You do see that the park used to be twice the size, and the overall amount of attractions on offer is nothing but a joke.

Happy that I got the cred, so there is no reason for me to ever go there again.

And with less airtime. The first double up is good, but the rest of the layout really doesn’t do much. To be fair, with the trains being mostly empty, it’s hard for them to keep their speed, but still one of the most disappointing rides I’ve had.

I think the POV does a decent job in showing how much speed is lost throughout the layout.

This POV is very indicative of the ride running slow. It's much better towards the end of the night and with full trains. It's an absolutely brilliant coaster and probably a top 3 GCI imo, but the rides I had on it early on were very disappointing much like this POV shows.

Funny thing is they sold 2 more of this exact layout. One is in pieces in Hangzhou and one was due to goto Chongqing (both in China) but not sure that one ever got manufactured,

they were both for the now failed Six Flags China parks, much like how this was for Six Flags Dubai.

I did all 3 parks on the same day, and Real Madrid World is definitely the one you'd want to do last to give the woodie time to warm up. Ran really well for me, but it's definitely worth saving until the end,
