Public Sector Strike November 2011

I didn't claim anything about 'nuclear devestation' or whatever it is you're saying. I just listed things that had happened as a result of the strike and you seem to be launching into a slagging match. Can we not hold a sensible conversation here?

The majority of people couldn't give a **** about the strikes

*Ahem* I recommend you view the poll partway down this page. 68% of people voted that they believed the strikers were wrong and their actions were damaging.

I don't know if you're trying to offend me or what, because I see no reason to be bothered by somebody I've never met disagreeing with me over the internet. I have a life and I have common sense, thank you very much.

Unsupported claims of widespread violence and looting not count then? :p

Claiming they should all be sacked is going OTT though. And unlike Jeremy Clarkson, we know you're not joking around phishing for headlines. ;)

Considering that the Telegraph is a very Tory biased newspaper, 32% being for them suggests that it's got backing. Spouting a poll from a very biased source doesn't count.

100% of current UK Prime Ministers say the strikes are wrong and damaging ;)

It could be because you've just suggested that he should be sacked? He may have taken a degree of umbrage against your view that he's scum of the earth. I don't know why he's bothered by somebody who's never met him having the opinion he's unpleasant. It's a good job common sense stepped in and stopped you from throwing a blanket opinion over everyone without considering that you may be deprecating towards people on here and that they may get upset with your wild and strong opinions... Mr Clarkson... ;)

I wasn't talking about bloody Jeremy Clarkson, I can't understand why people took his jokes so seriously.

I created this topic and said what was happening. I'm not going to get into any arguments.

If you START an argument, expect a response.

You didn't say what was happening, you presented a very iffy opinion.

You're 13, you don't really... you're running head long into **** that you think you're understanding and when someone comes along with a counter argument, you flip **** and crash... but meh, you learn from these things.

TL: DR?

You're 13. No you don't

I'm repeating myself, but whatever.

Kindly show me where ANY public sector worker was smashing shop windows.

I created this topic and said what was happening.

No, you said what you thought was happening, yet you don't actually know if it was or not and when challenged have been unable to support your claims.

I'm not going to get into any arguments.

Then don't bother telling us your opinion if you're unwilling (or more likely, unable) to defend it.

No, you didn't. You regurgitated a very one-sided, mostly untrue load of rubbish, not what was happening.

I'm not going to get into any arguments.

You can't expect to be able to spout complete and utter bollocks and not be challenged for it. There's no point in me responding to what you've said to me directly because other people have already said what I would have.

Since you clearly know so much about the subject, could you please tell me what you think the strikes were about and why you think they were wrong?
