RCDB says July 1st. Any one knows where they got this info ?

I think it was said a while ago they were aiming for July 1st after Covid delayed it from a spring opening, but all info released recently has just said ”summer”.

Also: July 3th is a sold out day because a telecom operator host a customers-only event and they claim the new ride will be open on that day...

this ride definitely elevated this park from a "huh let me rcdb this one again, can't remember it" to a "hmm I gotta work this one into a bennelux tour someday" kinda park

Plopsa has announced that The Ride to Happiness will soft open from July 1st - 21st, if you ride during this time you will be given a “certificate of Happiness” after your ride.

The coaster will be officially open from July 22nd.

I still think it is weird that a Plopsa Park themed a coaster to a 18+ dance festival.
That said, it looks very good and I imagine that the ride is marvellous.

I suppose it's similar to theming a coaster to the R-rated Saw movies, though I find that weird too.

I've been nervous to ask this because I feel like I've just missed something in the earlier pages but what is up with the name of this ride?? The ride to happiness? Like what's that about

It's a reference to the theme of the 2014 edition of the festival, the Key to Happiness, which also had a kind of steampunk/nature combo aesthetic. It made the name a lot more bearable when I noticed the connection.

Tomorrowland is one of the most well known dance festivals in the world. It’s organized yearly in Boom, Belgium and since our country is really small, yeah it’s close to PDP. Apart from that, there is no connection at all, it’s just a sort of partnership they established for this ride.

I believe that the induced spin on the first launch gives you a good enough "kick" to make you go "high" on the next hill.

No, however Loopings have reported guests will be offered ketamine in the restrooms outside the exit.
