Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

This ride looks more and more lush the more they build it.

So a hole has gathered some rain water, and that instantly means OMG WATER SPLASH!

I really never learned much from my school. National Geographic channel ftw.

Well that explains everything.

It explains everything. And yet nothing at the same time.

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

This seems odd to me, but track construction is well underway and the park still hasnt released a name for the coaster?

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

^ In the grand scheme of things, a name isn't very important.

If they go with the Egyptian theme then, I'd expect it to be named after one of the Egyptian characters from Asterix.

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

^^ I'm STILL convinced it will be Mission Cleopatra. I'm probably wrong but it would be a cool name in my opinion -_-

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

10WaTT, Best coaster ever in your pic !
Also i think that is a cool name not sure its going to be that at all though.
any construction updates lately ?

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's the best coaster ever, but it is good.

With regards to your question in this topic and The Swarm's topic, I'm sure if there was anything new someone would of posted by now.

Well we all have different opinions. Although it would make sense -_-

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

Going under that final turn like that definitely wasn't in any plans we've seen...

errrr, yes it is.

Everything that's been built has followed this concept art perfectly.

May I also add, I think that's a wingover/corkscrew after the underwater part. The supports that have been erected look like the ones used on wingovers (3 prongs). And the concept art is a liitttllee hard to tell whether it inverts or not. We'll see in the next few days I guess.

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

The concept art even has that little straight section after the loop.

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

I was trying to figure out what these supports could be supporting.

Looks alot like zero-g roll supporting...

Then here would be the exit to the roll

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

Epic roll. I just hope it isn't tame like Alpie's.

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

Yeah I agree with Bob, that looks most liikely to be a zero-g.

Anoter update:

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

Loving that tunnel! Looks like you will get some serious negatives at the pull up :D

Also, I can't see clearly, what will the next element be? Because it is banking into something -_-

Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix

That is a bit of a mystery really, could well be a zero-g (look at the supports in the top picture)?
