Parc Astérix New Additions

Parc Astérix has dropped new artwork for an expansion of their Egypt area, which is set to take over what remains of the ”À Travers le Temps” area between the current Egypt zone and the ”Rue de Paris” indoor section, which is also scheduled for replacement in the coming years.

The park is constructing a new Egyptian restauarant named Les Fastes Du Nil (”Feast of the Nile”), which is to be located next to the Zerier Wave Swinger Les Chaises Volantes, which will also don an Egyptian makeover.

This new design for the Wave Swinger is giving me Phantasialand vibes with it's water features

Construction has commenced on the Zamperla Windstarz and pair of family drop towers set for 2026, with the development teased on the park’s official app:

The viking playground next to Goudurix has also been closed off and dismantled to allow for construction to commence, blocking off access between Goudurix and Tonerre 2 Zeus:

If that's where I think it is from the map, that is a bit of dead space in the park and it makes sense for them to develop it - although, on the other hand, it is quite a nice, quiet, scenic spot which will be going away!

New details have emerged on the 2028 Intamin multi-dimensonal coaster:

- The coaster will sport a total ride length of 805 meters (unknown if that’s the track length itself or the total length of track traversed) and a maximum height of 17.6 meters.
- The train will be able to rotate independently of the track, much like Uncharted at PortAventura.
- The coaster will be able to run five trains holding twelve passengers each, for a total capacity of 1100 pph.
- The coaster will be fully enclosed and offer ”scenes and sensations” throughout the course.

A new site plan has also emerged showing the complete scale of the new ”Londondinium” area, complete with the coaster, an Alterface dark ride, a new indoor show stage, and various shops and restaurants:

Concept art of Londinium has emerged. It appears to be an anachronistic take on Roman-era London, incorporating references to modern landmarks such as the Gherkin and Vauxhall Cross.

The layout of the interactive dark ride, opening with the first phase of Londinium in 2027, has also emerged:
