No Limits Competition VI- Fluch Me!

^^ I have looked through RCDB for MCBR's on Eurofighters and I have only found 2 things on them.
First a set of magnetic brakes to reduce the speed and then clamp brakes for stopping the trains.
No wheels.

Can this be a first :--D

If I have to remove them fine but if not I think it will get around after an emergency stop. Won't be very thrilling but will get to the end.

^ As long as it don't valley after an E-stop then it's OK.

It's just like a normal coaster, if you get stopped on a MCBR then the ride back may not be thrilling but you will still get back.

^And I know you got mine :D

Hmm, I agree with loefet, there's no point in spending several days on a ride. Mine took probably 7 hours total.

It valleyed by a foot but now its ok. I can't wait to finish this coaster so far I've really enjoyed it and its fun!

I think I am pretty much finished. Tunnel test is iffy, but where it is failing it is in places where you wouldn't hit it, like the bottom, or the very sides.

I'm just pacing myself, since I got things to do.

...really...

I got 2 elements done, with SOME smoothing. Which is pointless, seeing as I never get it right...

If you can't reach it, and it doesn't hit the train, then you pass tunnel test ;)

Well unless you have 5 foot long arms, it seems to pass. It's stupid anyway becuase the station itself fails it.

Supporting and foiliage done now, time to smoothen off any rough edges.

Ok, I've gone through this thread and decided to join...

But, I have a couple of questions:
- still dunno when the deadline is
- What are bonus points
- Why are tools not allowed? And when you say tools not allowed, you mean, like, no AHG, no FVDs, no HSAK, no Newton, no nothing? Is the built in smoother allowed at least? This rule really does boggle my mind...
- Why isn't the launch a break segment? if it were a break segment, with correct settings, it would prevent E-Stop failure

I'm sure I wanted to ske something else, but I forgot what it was...
It will come to me eventually...

Never heard of Newton but you can use the in built smoother. The brake before the launch is a block so that will stop E-Stop failure becuase the train can not enter the launch unless the launch and track up to the next section is clear.

When is the deadline Dave?

- Neither do we, but Dave have hinted around March sometime.
- If you fulfil certain criteria with your track you get some extra points on your total score (the criteria are posted in the first post).
- Because CF value had building skills and not something that is generated with some other program. Since the competitions here judge your NL skill and nothing else.
- True, ask Dave if you could change it, the only thing is that it must launch with 55mph.

Yeah you can change the launch from transport to brakes. I've not fully worked how to do it, so just played it safe.

When you say "running 4 trains without stacking" does that mean having 3 trains on the track one in the station?
