I've never actually been. My housemate (the WITCH from Zimbabwe, suprise suprise!) used to go all the time, but in Brighton I'd rather go to KFC (or order GFC <3). From what I've read on here, I'm not missing much. If it's just half a chicken I'd rather go to a supermarket and inhale an entire rotisserie chicken to myself.

Oh, and the new(ish) chicken strips in spoons. OMG <3.

I really like Nando's, and it's the only popular chain that does anything even remotely Portuguese, and that's a big plus! <3

I disagree that it's a Student thing. For one, my parents are obsessed with it. In fact, they took me there today. It was actually really lovely.

I broke the Ice Cream machine though, the handle came off in my hand and went flying across the restaurant. Meanwhile, there was banana flavour frozen yoghurt pouring everywhere! The waiter spent the rest of the time we were in there taking the piss every time he walked past! hahaha! <3

Oh, and the food was actually lovely today. Still stupidly over-priced, but I wasn't paying, so meh!

It's brilliant. I never noticed it was overpriced because when it said 7.99 or whatever it is for what I order, I always forgot it was in pounds, but even if it's overpriced I still have no problem going. The extra hot sauce is soo good, and is quite hot, the chicken fillet things I get are nom, and the fries are decent.

I look forward to Nandos when I go to England more than I look forward to seeing Brad ;) Haha kidding but, it's quite good and I do always force him to take me.

Expanding on going to the till to order your own food. It's just.. Ugh. Dry pieces of chicken slapped onto a grill with some revolting sauce smothering any sort of real taste.

Hardly worth the price.

It's overrated, but I can see why it's so popular. It's very simple and effective, and offers that "challenge" of eating spicy food that people (for some reason unknown to me) enjoy partaking in.

As for ordering your food at a till, just a good excuse not to leave a tip in my opinion, so I approve. :p Plus, self serve drinks = win.

I quite like going. The best thing on the menu are their olives... But grilled chicken is popular with almost everyone.

I don't think it's overpriced at all. Just average. If you think that's overpriced then you obviously don't eat out much...

Different flavours, sources and the mix and match do it yourself style approach is popular because it offers more than just some run of the mill boring same old, even though it's not escaping that. It's got nothing on similar US restaurants, though, which is why I was so shocked to find Nandos doing so well in DC...

I forgot I'd clicked on that, then accidentally moved into the tab it was open in.
That was a strange moment for me.
This has little to nothing to do with chicken :p
