How Come The World Won't Stop- Anastacia

It's definitely one of the saddest songs I have ever listened to, and it makes me tear up every time! It's not an amazing song, but I absoloutely love the lyrics. For anyone who can be bothered to read them, here:

Listen to Winter by Bayside and talk about a sad song:

When Winter falls
Next year, I'll be holding on
To anything nailed down
As for being patient, with fate and all, it's getting old.
And my mind is slowly changing
I'm calling all my oldest friends,
Saying "sorry for this mess we're in,"
And I'm waiting, waiting
For the Sun to come and melt this snow,
wash away the pain, and give me back control, control.

An angel got his wings,
And we'll hold our heads up knowing that he's fine.
We'd all be lucky to have a love like that in a lifetime.

Should we still set his plate?
Should we still save his chair?
Should we still buy him gifts?
And if we don't, did we not care?
It makes you think about the life you've led,
**** you've done, things you've said.
And it's grounding, grounding.
I've been feeling three feet tall this month,
hardly indestructible.
But the snow melts, and the rhythm still goes on.

An angel got his wings,
And we'll hold our heads up knowing that he's fine.
We'd all be lucky to have a love like that in a lifetime.

Friends stay side by side,
In life and death you've always stole my heart,
You'll always mean so much to me, it's hard to believe this

These nights in vans,
These nights in bars,
Don't mean a thing with empty hearts, with empty hearts.

An angel got his wings,
And we'll hold our heads up knowing that he's fine.
We'd all be lucky to have a love like that in a lifetime.

Friends stay side by side,
In life and death you've always stole my heart,
You've always meant so much to me, it's hard to believe
So much to me, it's hard to believe
So much to me, it's hard to believe this.

The whole thing is about their drummer that died while they were on tour. Their van got in an accident, their bassist was injured, but the lead guitarists continued on the tour, playing acoustic.

Without a doubt, the saddest thing I've ever seen was them playing acoustic.

I'm surprised i've not posted rambling about the new Editors album yet. In my opinion its the best album i've bought this year, and as good as their debut was, this is actually streets better. Everything has more depth to it, Tom's voice seems to have developed quite a bit, as well as the recognisable deep booming we're used to, it seems a bit more flexible and capable of higher pitches too. The guitars on this album are much better, and very distinctive throughout the whole album.

First single 'Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors' was quite an epic and powerful first single to put out. Bold move, gorgeous song though. The current single (and also the title of the album) An End Has A Start is in a similar vein, and the next single 'The Racing Rats' continues down that route, but puts another darker twist on things. The whole album is quite dark, and I remember in the press before it was released, Tom Smith was discussing how people may be turned away from it by how morbid it can be at times, but personally, I think its made the album stronger and more interesting.

Every single track deserves a listen, and its all very moving indeed, but seeing as its the next single, here's a link to 'The Racing Rats'.

Jer, if you've not heard Editors yet, you should! They're the English Interpol, very similar, but better. There's more emotion in the tracks.

Anyone who likes a big multi-instrumental band, full of
multi-instrumentalists and a great passion for music will love Arcade Fire

In 2003 they released Funeral, which was a great album for such an unknown band, the slow songs on here are so well written and songs like 'Wake Up' and 'Rebellion (Lies)' are so great.

2007, they released Neon Bible as there second album, which is a more darker album than the first one, with less slow songs and more powerful songs with other instruments which are rarely seen in a rock band these days, E.g a Hurdy Gurdy and a Church Organ.
They are a great band and I deeply recommend that you listen to them.

I'm just recommending one song for now, because I've grown to like it so much (not that I didn't like it in the first place).

It's Ecstasy, by ATB. It's sort of a trance song, with an awesome tune and beat, with some decent lyrics too. Yes, it's been out for several years, but I thought I'd just post it in here in case anybody had forgotten about it or hasn't heard it at all.

This video includes footage from Kingdom Hearts II which worked quite well I thought. But I usually just have the song in the background and forget about the video.

The new Angels and Airwaves album is rather hot ... they done themselves proud, even better than the first album IMO!

They don't hold a match to Blink 182 or even Boxcar racer. Like +44 I find AVA to be meh!

^ Flux is an all round brilliant song. The video's really cool as well.

I love that song, I love Robyn. Except her eyebrows scare me a bit in this vid.

I recomend Pendulum. I don''t think i'll be able to get this point across but i'll give it a go: I don't really like the genre (Drum+Bass) but some of the music is really addictive.

The latest song I have discovered is Blood Sugar by Pendulum:

Give it a go, you may like it...I sort of do...

Ohhh I know I'm gunna get the piss took out of me here but...

I like Home by WestLife, I know its not theirs but I love that song!

^That'll be Requiem for A Tower by Clint Mansell I take it? From the moment I noticed that on the Top Gear Polar special, it seems to be cropping up absolutely everywhere. I know it was originally used for Requiem for a Dream, and then remixed for the 2nd Lord of the Rings film, but its just everywhere now, its even Sky Sports News' music! Thoroughly epic track though.

Oh, and yes, Club Foot is off Kasabian's first album.

^Yeh, both they songs are very inspiring and motivating lol.

Also, Nickelback's Rockstar is a totally awesome song, as is Bloc Party's Helicopter and The Wombat's Joy division...I like loads of good music! :D
