So not-his-style. It's a nice risk and i think it pays off. Even though his voice is so electronically enhanced.

Also Bruises - Chairlift. It's used in the new iPod advert, and i know it's cliche and "cool" to like the new "apple ipod advert music" but i genuinely like this track. I wanna meet the guy who chooses them, they always use nice summery tunes. Perfect for all the sunny weather we've been gettin.
They're a bit like Editors, a bit like Joy Division, a bit like Interpol. Basically, they're miserable as sin, but awesome all the same.
They're also a sign of how fickle the music industry is, because they were around a few years ago under a different name, but got nowhere, came back with a different name, playing pretty much the same music, and now they seem to one of the big new things.
New Order - Blue Monday
Seal - A Kiss from a Rose
Pat Benetar - Love is a Battlefield
UB40 - Red Wine
Phantom Planet - California
Phil Collins - Illegal Alien
Slighty different one for those who like score music....
Check out the Kingdom Hearts (Video Game) Soundtrack. Although there are quite a few tracks on there that are repititive there is also some real stand out pieces that stir up some good feeling.
