I don't think so, I walked by that part the other day (it is directly across from Be Our Guest), it looks like its just an up helix into a block brake, then a drop.

On ride looks faster than I thought it would be tbh.

It's a very nice little coaster, can see it having very poor through put though.

I guess I'm still trying to figure out if this will be more or less intense than the likes of Matterhorn or Thunder Mountain.

Disney Said Less intense than Big Thunder Mountain Railroad... They were trying to emphasize Family Coaster I think

Wow, that's amazing! Disney really improve on their animatronics again, didn't think it was possible after what they did with some of them in Mystic Manor.

They look much much better (as you'd expect) than those projections onto dummies they do at the London dungeons. Really can't wait for this.

If anyone is going this summer it will be on the fastpass + system next week.

Could save hour queues.

Looks great! The projected faces are presumably the same tech as on Radiator Springs Racers, really makes the figures come alive.

^^I don't know about Radiator Springs, but apparently the faces of the dwarfs are projected from inside the animatronic.

There's also a rumour that they will use this technology for Disneyland California next year, for the anniversary, to update Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland.

Yes it's the same as what it being used on the cars ride, but improved.

It looks great, I really don't care that this is just a family coaster the theming makes this one of the best themed coasters.

Cannot wait to ride it.

Checked with the wife today and there is still no news on a Cast Member preview day(s). Usually the preview day(s) happens in the week leading up to soft opening.

I think Mr. Potato Head was the first use of this projection technology... or maybe that one was the interactive element... I forget.

I believe the Buzz lightyear animatronic in the queue line for Buzz Lightyear laser blast was the first to use the
projection technology.

^ Yeah, never been that impressed with the Buzz Lightyear effort. I didn't even consider that it was the same technology since it's so vastly inferior to this new version.
