LEGOLAND's 2025 project (first posted here) will be a LEGO Galaxy-themed land featuring a launched indoor coaster, a Huss Airboat flat ride and playscapes as reported by Parkfans and Screamscape.

The new land will replace the current driving school and junior driving school at LEGOLAND California. These two attractions will be relocated to the site currently occupied by the Funtown Fire Academy.

The coaster will be situated in a more than 30,000 sq ft large and over 40-feet tall show building and is confirmed to be launched.

According to Parkfans, the project was scheduled to open in March 2025, but may open later that year due to the ongoing planning and approval process.

This actually sounds awesome - it would be a great addition at Legoland Windsor too - all weather and indoor to keep the noise to a minimum.

Edit: sorry just realised a thread for the California one already exists.

So i guess this can be for Florida's 😓

Quite a big investment is coming to Legoland California & Florida, both parks are set to get indoor first of their kind coasters. This will be the largest investments both parks have ever seen being a combined total of $90 million.

"we’re sparing no expense to deliver the most innovative, interactive and captivating experience possible.”

Work has already begun.

per Screamscape - a news piece about the new driving school at Legoland California included some drone shots of the new indoor coaster being built.
The reporter says - "they are building this one and an identical one at their Florida location".
I took some shots of the footers that can be seen in the video! A layout anyone knows?
...And here is the video.

More info was released yesterday. The coasters will be space-themed and will launch from the LEGOLAND SPACEPORT 885, named after the original LEGO Space Scooter set #885. In addition to the coaster, the space-themed area will include a covered story-driven queue area, a themed retail shop called Orbital Outpost, and DUPLO TOT Spot, a shaded play area for children aged 1 to 4 featuring DUPLO bricks, vehicles, characters, and a photo opportunity. Theme Park Insider was given a construction tour of GalactiCoaster at Legoland California which includes first looks at the interior, including the pre-show room (featuring a first-of-its-kind Lego figurine animatronic) as well as the loading area and a brief glimpse at the ride POV:
